Ann Coulter, who is as stupid as she is vicious, compared John Fetterman to Uncle Fester on "The Munsters".

Uncle Fester was on Addams Family.

Trump appointed judge ruled armed masked vigilantes outside ballot boxes just free speech.

Nobody said you had to graduate from the sixth grade to be a MAGA.

I saw that yesterday. Yet another example of a MAGA wannabe asshole.

I always preferred the Addams Family over the Munsters.

Me too. Though, I have been looking to watch the new Munsters movie.

Who would have thought litter boxes would become latest front in Republican culture war?

Republican candidates and right wing media are repeating, over and over, the nonsense that schools are providing litter boxes for students who are "furries" and identify as cats.

No such thing is taking place. Although some schools have stockpiled litter and buckets in case students are locked into a classroom for hours due to school shooting.

This is 1) an attempt to ridicule transgender students by comparing trans people to children who supposedly think they are cats and 2) and "if A then B" (if same sex couples can get married, people will want to marry their dog or their car, which they also love! if transgender people can use restrooms, schools will have to supply litter boxes!)

Absolute bullshit but you can hear it on the campaign trail, and on Fox and other pro Republican media, daily.

There actually is such a thing as furries. It is a harmless subculture of adults who like to hold social events where participants wear animal costumes. They don't think they are those animals, they don't use litter boxes, and in fact mostly dress as wild animals who don't use litter boxes.

Since Republicans have absolutely no solutions, all they can do is spread hate and panic.

There are furries at school as well. My daughters get hissed and barked at by them often.

It's strange. But definitely harmless.

Jerry Lee Lewis got lambasted for marrying a relative and an underage girl. We're well on our way towards that becoming inconsequential.

Don't see relevance. Lewis married a 13 year old girl. Barely more than a child. What relationship does that have to anything discussed here?

Child rape is harmful. Social events with costumes are not. Anti trans bigotry is harmful. People using restroom is not.

It's just like Yelp reviews--people are much more likely to leave a review for a negative experience than a positive one. Similarly, people are going to be much more motivated to vote by fear and anger than by excitement or optimism for a candidate's positions and policies. Sadly, this reality is what opens the door for the confrontational, hostile political system we have.

True enough.

It's called what do I "identify" as. The sky's the limit.
That doesn't explain your Jerry Lee Lewis statement at all.
incoming non sequitur...
