So why did Josh Smith (the college one) quit UCLA? I can't find any article that cites any particular reason, but I figured ya'll are more in tune to the happenings on the West Coast than I am.
Yeah, he was a headcase. Yeah, he was fat. Yeah, he was dominant when he wanted to be but would fade into the background 90% of the time. Most programs can deal with that though.
What actually caused the potential fringe first round pick just leave UCLA? What was the straw that broke the camel's back?

...do you think there is really more to it than this?!

my buddy just got this, he drank like 12 cokes a day
Has nothing to do with how many cokes he drinks.
they told him he cant drink anymore cokes, or eat hardly any fat, hes 43
he was already a scrawny dude too
to be honest i think the docs are kinda clueless with it, any advice i can give him?
Is anyone watching this UNLV/Portland game?
Portland came to play!
...I just tuned in -- Univ Portland is a really low priority for basketball fandom in the state. They are starting to lay bricks though.
The same reason most people transfer from UCLA. The girls there aren't that hot.
i've been in a mediterreanan food kick lately. hummus and pitas and shit like that.

Tell him to go through with a colectomy (removal of the colon) as soon as possible. Life is just as good without a colon as it is with a good one. Seriously.
My brother supposedly got Ulverative Colitis from taking Accutane. He was doing a lawsuit thing but I'm not sure where it went.
I'd like to add that a colectomy is not recommended in all cases of Ulcerative Colitis. My brother has had it for 5 years now, it's mostly under control, he has to take three pills a day for it though. I'd assume it all depends on the severity.
