Tried R+D Diner on Montana today. FUCKING AWESOME. Lots of hot women in there too...its owned by houstons/gulfstream/bandera people.

AMAZING warm potato salad with corn and some bacon in there. THE BOMB!

Burger was fucking GREAT too. One of the better ones in LA...the flavor combos were great and a nice smoky char on the burger.

Mango iced tea was teh shit! Lots of mango flavor in it..not like paradise iced tea.

Cougar convention was weak as shit. i never even went in, we just kind of talked to the check-in girls and then left...sat in teh bar downstairs, saw some 40ish dude making out with a 70 year old chick. uggh. So many fucking losers at that place, boned the fuck out and hit up the SLS hotel which has a molecular gastronomy tapas bar by Jose Andres, which was pretty fucking good.

just booked at the ghetto ass Tropicana next weekend in vegas! haha. should be fun though. $150 a night, but its a fight weekend! :ghoti: fridge in the room! woot!

Have a 6:45am international flight to mexico tomorrow morning. FML. Have to wake up at 430am. :( at least its probably the last time I'll have to go this year (I hope).

the search for the Perfect Burger continues!

This one is in the below mediocre, its the "Simmzy's Burger" at the Tin Roof Bistro in Manhattan Beach.

Its a new restaurant, quite busy...but the food kind of fell flat.

they left this ketchup in front of me for 10 minutes. wtf.

but boy..did I need it. This was an uncessarily messy burger with an onion compote with tomatos in it, which was just too messy and the flavor combinations did not work well. It was almost like a "pizza burger" (they did, to their credit, use tilamook cheese).

the fries were just sad.

dunno if I'll give this place a second chance, its really mediocre bistro fare.

Thieves steal marijuana from Christies Beach Police Station

YOUTHS are breaking into one of the state's biggest police complexes to steal cannabis from an evidence storage area.

The Advertiser has been told that local youths were caught twice last weekend as they desperately swept up the remnants of drug seizures at Christies Beach police complex.

One youth was understood to have been caught in the back of a police ute literally collecting a pile of cannabis, while others have been gathering their stash from the ground around fenced-off industrial storage bins.

seriously though, the gym is like $20 a day. Thing that sucks is I'm getting in to Vegas at MIDNIGHT on Friday...that's gotta suck. Flying directly from mexico, with 2 layovers, Fuck My Life. I'll try to sleep on the plane so I can party all night long.
