I understand and agree here. Unfortunately hes the best option (by far) that we've got
I guess my problem with this line of thinking is that it seems to encourage complacency. Nurk is the best option we've got... but that doesn't mean it's an option worth sticking with. His presence on the roster is essentially an excuse for the front office not to actively seek an upgrade. If he were dealt--even without a replacement on board--it would force the FO to make finding an acceptable long-term answer at that position a priority.

Cleveland has made Allen available, Atlanta has made Capella available, Phoenix has made Ayton available. There are centers available. What the price is? Who knows.
