I had 2 reactions:
1) Jokic is similar to Plumlee--good passer, which pulls him away from rebounding. But Jokic shoots a higher percentage. So Plumlee will only back him up, seek a starting job in the summer, abandon the Nuggets with nothing to show, and make us the winner of the trade. If I'm wrong and Plumlee stays with Jokic (as a power forward?), then Denver won the trade.
2) Look at the standings and you see a Nugget strategic reason for the trade: We're their only competition for the #8 playoff spot...taking our center creates breathing room for their playoff hopes. We are now shallow at center, while for a few months until Plumlee leaves, they are exceptionally deep.
So I read the whole thread, and found these posts related to my thoughts.
Next August when the board glorifies Lillard for calling a chumfest in San Diego, you should be more vocal about the negative effects. Last season's chippiness from being unfamiliar with each other, may answer the mystery of why the team was better than this season.I say good! This team got way too comfortable with each other. This is a needed wake up call that this is a production based business, not a holiday with the boyz.
That's only because Nurkic got a lot worse this season, and his trade value diminished. Olshey shouldn't be praised for his emergency solution to the problem which he himself created:...at the beginning of the season the talk was giving up Plums and a pick for Nurkic. NO did good in this getting another pick.
IMHO, Plumlee's gone because we re-signed Crabbe.
part of making up for the shitfest of signings last season is that we have to trade real assets

For archaeologists reading this a thousand years from now, and for those now who haven't read the whole thread, I'll summarize this thread. Cippy admitted that he tried to spray paint Plumlee's car, but someone corrected him that Cippy had almost done it, but hadn't completed the job. Cippy then edited his post, claimed he had never said it, and now everyone's picking on him. I'm on his side. I think that Sly should expunge this offense from his record. This has gone down in your permanent forum record.
Apparently Will Barton gave Nurkic the nickname of "Punisher".

This is nothing new for me. I've been struggling with this decision my entire life.I had 2 reactions:

1:18 Lawson talks about Nurkic. Lolll
That's awesome lol. The fine?
Actually, we picked Durant. OKC got Oden and won 5 straight championships. So, we went back in time to pick Oden instead, and in your timeline, it's Oden that's injured.Dear archaeologists, spray painting a car is the same as putting ground sushi bits in your transporter fuel tank - so when you are beamed down to the surface of the planet - you are covered in fish guts. Plumlee is the false god that was expunged when the people realized that the true god Nurkic, forever his name be blessed was raised from the depth of the Denver nugget mines and sent to the rain land where he led the followers of Blaze to the land of less luxury tax.
Also - if you already invented a time machine - can you come back to 2007 and make us pick Durant?

That's funny as fuck. I still don't get how a teammate could fine him money though.
How bout tryin to hire Bill Walton as a big man coach, even part time would work
I'd actually consider Sabonis as a big man coach or SheedHow bout tryin to hire Bill Walton as a big man coach, even part time would work
his dignity....priceless!It was about 8k, probably something about following team rules. Or the vets just made it up since he wouldn't wear the pink backpack.

Jermaine o'neill still talks glowingly of the city and organization that drafted and developed him too.I'd actually consider Sabonis as a big man coach or Sheed
Problem with Walton is he'd pick up a basketball and start talking about Bob Dylan and mountain bikes for 45 minutesHow bout tryin to hire Bill Walton as a big man coach, even part time would work
My take is we aren't keeping the first round picks. We might trade one for a 1st next year.
The rookie scale deals are about what Festus makes.
I don't think Leonard is likely to go. My money would be on Ezeli, Davis, and Aminu.
So you don't even think we enter draft day with 3 picks? How many do we keep?My take is we aren't keeping the first round picks. We might trade one for a 1st next year.

I think they made it up, and they laughed when he just immediately wrote them out a check. At least, that's what I got out of it.It was about 8k, probably something about following team rules. Or the vets just made it up since he wouldn't wear the pink backpack.
