Yeh, I don't think Nurkic was the big goal here; I think Olshey is going for a big one with these draft picks, I hope he has his ducks lined up.

Yeah, drafting 3 rookies probably isn't the best route to take - but I LOVE having three 1st round picks! Use ours, trade DEN's, use CLE's.My guess is we trade one of the 3 picks and keep the other two. Just because we got Nurkic doesn't mean we won't go out and make another move.

When you roll the trade back to it's origin, didn't we essentially trade something like the #22 pick for Nurkic and what will probably end up being a mid-teens pick in a reportedly strong draft? That's a really good return on the initial investment.I think the one...silver? lining you can take out of this is that this was pretty much the peak of what you'd get out of Plumlee.
Maybe Nurkic has higher potential...but guh, just like noknobs, I'm tired of hearing that word.
Oh, okay. Not as good, but still pretty nice. It's Memphis' pick, not Denvers.
Now I have to start rooting for MEM to lose. It's Memphis' pick, not Denvers.
crap!It's Memphis' pick, not Denvers.
Hopefully it says "Update your resume!"Interesting. We traded a "point center" for an incredibly high-usage low-post scorer. Not sure what that says to Stotts.
Horrible thought: does this mean that Meyers is now our starter?
He'll probably be a better rim protector than Plumlee.
