"Racism" isn't used to literally mean prejudice only against "races." Prejudices against ethnicities qualifies as well. Considering most geneticists don't even subscribe to a model of clearly-defined "races," and it's just a social construct, racism really only makes sense when describing prejudice or discrimination towards ethnicities.

So what? You use that to bash Nurk's work ethic? If it's not your opinion then why post it on the fansite? It's prejudice pure and simple....no place around here for that stuff in my view....and Nurk is just young....he's a work in progress,,,if Eastern Europeans are so lazy why do they produce so many incredible athletes....Olympic medals? I have lived overseas and I know some Eastern Europeans....none of whom fit your description....or your friends description..

That's literally the opposite of what I said. I said the sentiment you expressed that some Americans feel towards Mexicans (and that you and your friend and some Western Europeans feel about Eastern Europeans) is classic racism.

He's been in the league for 4 years and still can't finish around the Rim (he is a fucking Center, that's his job) . You can't Shoot 45% as a starting center, that's extremely bad. He is average imo

Woooow against a skinny Sabonis, you forgot all the other Games? If we Keep Nurkic on a large Contract that would be a huge mistake. Todays nba bigs need to shot 3s, but Nurkic still can't finish around the Rim, i dont care about his Defense. But yeah let's Keep another Average Player and Stuck in mediocrity for another 5 years

That guy is Not my Friend, he was a random guy i chatted with on a Basketball Thread. He saw on my Avatar that im a portland fan and we started to spoke about Nurkic

I do not share your opinion. He is not lazy. Time will tell.

My 'friend', your beatifull country has been built by hard work of imigrants from all over the world, including a huge number from Balkan countries. Take a look around of yoursef anytime, anywhere. You will see the product of the 'lazyness'

I think it's better to speak only about basketball. You just go deep and deeper with this, clearly racism. After all you are the fan of this club, and better not to chat about this.

He's huge and above average mobile for his size, good timing on the blocks, good instincts but he has also a lot of holes in his game.

Nurkic, same as Lillard, is guarantee of mediocrity, too good to make us lose games but not as good to take us to another level.
