Obama Talks about Jews ... er... Janitors

Wow, YouTube is already burying this blunder.

I'm not sure he was really saying "Jew"... he was flubbing all through that speech and I think he just started saying the wrong word and tried to correct midway through it. Unfortunately for him it sounded like "Jew".

What was really bad was when he said something about doctors and fooling people in Texas, and then 57 states.

How can the smartest President ever mispronounce "janitor" and make it sound like "Jew". I've given literally hundreds of presentations before audiences, and I'd never, EVER, make such a dumb mistake.

No what was really bad was when he thought it was still 2008.... if I can't travel back through time, neither can he.

I'm not sure if you're actually asking me this question, but I think the guy is helpless without his teleprompter. In that video he was doing a pretty bad job so maybe he was trying to speak off the cuff and totally butchered it? :dunno:

I'm convinced Obama will be re-elected because the GOP can only muster a bunch of morons and bigots. God forbid they actually find a decent candidate... :sigh:

It's the Joooooooooossssss!!!

Anybody else notice he was speaking before an all-black audience? Barry must have felt like a misfit there, being half-white and raised by whites.

What, you missed Obama's "march with me" plea to the same black audience?

How does the GOP have bigots when Herman Cain just won the Florida straw poll?

Time travel isn't what it's cracked up to be.

just ask Doc Brown.

that is very true. while the Republicans can get their "message" across better then democrats, they're totally pulling a democrat when it comes to candidates this year. If they don't watch it, they'll divide the vote (assuming there is eventually a 3rd "tea party" type candidate).

I think the vote is already divided. I really don't have any faith in the GOP at all.

Take it for what it's worth, as an Obama "honk", I don't have faith in the democratic party either.

I think Obama has lost some steam with the Dems, but he's the incumbent so he'll still pull the left votes. Most Dems will vote for him in hopes that he still lives up to the hype in his second term. The right candidate from the GOP might pull some progressives, but I honestly don't think there's a candidate out there that will unite the GOP, let alone pull votes from the left.

Sounds like "jute" to me and then he cut it off and corrected himself, clearly not "jew".

Nitpicker.

Obviously, you're better than Obama at pronouncing the word "janitor" because you've said it hundreds of times, and he hardly ever says it. Are you a custodian consultant?

Speaking of Jewish janitors, Michelle Bachman (2 n's or 1? First time I ever typed it) says she thinks of herself as a Jew. (Some ancestor was a Jew.) But she says that Hurricane Irene was Jesus' revenge on Obama. So she talks up Jesus a lot while being Jewish. I don't get it. Must be a politician.

What does this even mean? That all blacks are just sitting at home in bedroom slippers?

"Take off your bedroom slippers. Put on your marching shoes," he said, his voice rising as applause and cheers mounted. "Shake it off. Stop complainin'. Stop grumblin'. Stop cryin'. We are going to press on. We have work to do."

If you're unemployed, why not sit around in bedroom slippers?

Yes that must be what he means since all and only black people sit at home in bedroom slippers.

He was speaking at a Congressional Black Caucus event to an audience that was overwhelmingly black. A "rally the troops" speech to the base that is even getting sick of his incompetence.

Also, how is PASS THIS BILL!!! doing these days? Did it pass the House? Has it been introduced in the House? ;)

You and I both know when the president speaks, his speeches reach much farther than the given audience. If you really think Obama was only speaking of Black people when addressing the Congressional Black Caucus, you really aren't understanding politics.

I don't know how pass the bill is going, but did you know that Andre Miller has never been past the first round of the playoffs? :D
