MIXIM's enablers take a look in the mirror. Dude definitely wants attention and those that attack him do just that. If we didn't have the same posters lining up to insult him in every over the top thread he makes, his stuff would barely get any responses and would be off the first page in hours.

Think of what a luxury it is to even consider having Oden play off of the bench. Przy took a big gamble signing with Portland considering the team was still under the control of Steve Patterson. What a great decision he made for not only himself, but also for the Blazers and their fans. That said, I'd probably reinsert Oden with the starters at some point before the playoffs because I think he'll be very important for the Blazers to have a chance of winning a series.

If he deserves to be put on your ignore list, why don't you put him there? Your logic makes no sense. Even though he deserves, in your opinion, to be ignored you won't do it. You want somebody else to do it for you. It's not the mods job to decide who you should ignore. That's your job.

You know, on every message board I've ever been on, there's always one "Mixum". Everyone gangs up and hates on one poster. And the poster seems to enjoy the attention. I think they must sub-consciously enjoy it, because it's pretty easy to add someone to your ignore list.

I personally find the Mixum posts, and everyone's responses to them entertaining. As long as he doesn't flood the board with two many new posts.

Many posters start a thread or respond to a post and do not stick around or return to debate their position. It happens all of the time. State your disagreement and then move on. I often am in no mood to argue a point. Sometimes I just want to express an opinion, regardless of being popular, and then move on to the next thread. Sometimes I feel like staying and arguing, but it is each individuals right to come and go as they please.

This site gives you everything you need to enjoy it. They let you know who starts a thread and they let you ignore other posters. Stick with the rules and it will be an enjoyable experience for all! And ain't it great to be able to curse on this site?!! Have some fucking fun!

Im not the kind of fan who thinks just cause we beat a team... everything is ok. I also am not a big believer in potential. I agree with Colin Cowherd about NBA players... You can usually see pretty quick who is gonna be a player. I mean of course its not always true... but i really think at leats 80% of the time you just know who has it and who doesnt it. Like Sergio... i knew last year he was a scrub. im amazed KP hasnt dealt him yet. I really think its cause of rudy and wanted to make rudy more comfortable this year.

Anyway.. my point is.... i always wanna improve the teams i root for. And when i see players on our roster that are complete wastes (sergio, frye, etc)... it annoys me. Pritchard should have made a deal even if he got us a banger. theres always a sucker GM out there.

Everybody bashes players, the difference with you is that you NEVER have anything positive to say. Isnt part of being a fan being happy when your team wins? If not then whats the point? Nobody plays perfect for an entire game, stupid plays happen. Having it being one big lovefest is lame too, I agree, but you need to find some middle ground dude.

He should come off the bench. Earlier in the year I said he should start when he came back, but right now he should come off the bench. I still feel he is our best option at center though, so if he is playing well he should get the majority of the minutes for that particular game.

Some people won't trade Sergio for Andre Miller because it does not work salary wise straight up. So Portland would have to add other assets and that gets dicey as we don't have any disposable contracts. You must also take into account the money Miller makes. I do not think he is worth what he makes. I also do not like his weak shooting numbers. Roy needs a strong shooter playing PG next to him.

Yes, Sergio is not a good shooter either, but Blake is, and makes half of what Miller costs. Then you factor in age and I am not enamored with Miller. I am not enamored with Sergio either, but I would not give up any assets of value for Miller, and that includes Frye who could be useful in the playoffs if Oden is injured and Joel gets into foul trouble.

So it is not always that posters think Sergio is better than Miller, but rather that his age and contract are better and Miller will just get in the way of developing or trading for a PG of the future. I do not care if Miller could give us a slight upgrade over Blake for a year or two. The price tag would be to much.
