Alot of time on your hands and desire to make others feel like shit eh? Hats off to ya pal.

Just wanted to make sure I supported my claim thoroughly... I'm not new to forums.

The conspiracies thing was what annoyed me not the THREE seperate medical references. I'm clearly wrong and ignorant. Not only do you win, but you've snuffed out a childhood dream and no I'm not kidding. Thanks for taking the time.

I'm a little confused (ok, maybe I'm a lot confused). Are you no longer going to be a fan because he pointed out that his knee injury might have a sane medical explanation behind it?

If true, that seems to be a rather odd reason to upset or give up on the team.

It could be that his bones are not up to snuff with his muscles (I've never heard of that, but it makes sense. Boys that are taller, sometimes "catch up" with certain aspects of their body, so to speak, later than boys who aren't as tall. And just so people get what I mean, I meant like strength, balance, and bone density, not peter size). It could be that his kneecap broke because he put too much stress on the bone, by jumping. I know sometimes when I was younger, if I jumped wrong, my knee felt like it was screwy.

I understand how it can see strange that his knee broke, considering A: it was the same knee he hurt last year, but this isn't related B: it's another injury in the long line of 2 unrelated knee injuries and C: fans are emotional.

Just because Oden hulked out and broke his own kneecap doesn't mean he's brittle; I've heard of power lifters breaking their own arms with their muscles. It just means he has very strong quads, which is kind of expected. Let him drop some muscle weight, play at a lighter weight and maybe turn down the defensive intensity to 8.5 instead of 11, and he'll be fine.

Absolutely true.

And Idog the Conspiracy theory comment had more to do with CLownzano and others feeding us with crappy conspiracies of him having actually fractured it against Maggette and then team covering up the true nature of the injury etc..etc..

What I don't get about the conspiracy theories is why the Blazers would allow Oden to play, knowing that it was likely that he would have another serious injury, without taking the summer to actually fix the problem.

It doesn't stand up, but then again, there are still many people who believe that 9/11 was an inside job orchestrated by noted mastermind George Bush.

It isn't about logic, it is about hope. People would rather hope for an inept Dr, rather than admit Oden is just that fragile.

But the reality is that we don't have to do either. It's a false dilemma we're giving ourselves. The third option is that Oden has average bones, but over-developed muscles.

This was the answer.

To address Julius. I'm done now because yes, Oden is brittle and I was hoping it was inept doctors and not him being Walton/Bowie/Glass Joe II. Been punched in the nuts one (who am I kidding way too many) too many times as a Blazers fan. And I'm just freaking done with it.

I'm done with the Blazers and by extension this site, until (IF) they get to the Finals. So I will see you guys in 2025.

Props to Julius, Ben, the Mods, Blazer Caravan, Nikokulous, Rastapapolous and all the other folks who made this site great. I will miss you cool guys.

Feel free to say fair weather fan and all that stuff. Feel happy in your superiority and check your trousers to see if it has grown any from your insults and hate thrown my way. If it has well, I guess that's what does it for you.

Hmm... I hope you're kidding about leaving. If not, take some time off and come back we (or some combination of "us") will be here, waiting.

:)
