Offer Rudy for Omer Asik

Chicago are supposedly still interested in Rudy. Rudy said he was interested in Chicago. If Chicago would give us Omer Asik (after all, we drafted him), then I say go for it RIGHT NOW. Asik is a young center who I think will be very solid. He set some kind of record for blocks in some kind of Euro Cup and has looked very good every time he plays for Turkey. I wonder if Chicago would go for it, though.

(Yes, yes - Roy's probably done too, but SGs are easier to find with lower draft picks than Cs are. Which is probably why Chicago would balk.)

You might get James Johnson and a #1 pick for him from the Bulls. Right now, the team is selling the Asik is going to be a big difference maker kind of player kool aid.
