So Oden might play the preseason game in Brooklyn? I wonder if I should go. Are preseason tickets cheaper?

any of you LA peeps going to Clippers game? I'm probably not, too lazy to drive downtown.

Here we go again......

Greg Oden was sidelined on Wednesday for the second straight practice due to swelling in his left knee. The HEAT practiced in New York at Basketball City on Pier 36 in advance of Thursday’s preseason game against the Nets.
Oden, who is attempting a comeback despite chronic knee problems, sat out the HEAT’s shootaround on Tuesday at Georgetown due to slight swelling.

can't wait to get that Oden Heat jersey on clearance.

Damn..... 4/50+M

Forward Derrick Favors has agreed in principle to a four-year extension worth $49 million-plus with the Utah Jazz, a source confirmed to ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

Incentives could push the total financial package to well more than $50 million, the source said. The deal likely will be signed Saturday.

Yahoo! Sports earlier reported terms of the deal.

The 6-foot-10, 263-pound Favors is expected to start for a Jazz team that lost Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap during the offseason. The 22-year-old primarily came off the bench last season for Utah, averaging 9.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 23.2 minutes per game.

Originally selected third overall by New Jersey in 2010, the former Georgia Tech standout was part of the February 2011 deal that shipped star point guard Deron Williams from the Jazz to the Nets.

Damn..... 4/50+M

Not a bad deal if he can maintain the same level of productivity when he gets more minutes this year. He put up 15 ppg / 11 rpg /2.6 bpg per 36 minutes with a PER of 17.5 last year as a 21 year old. With him getting tons of minutes this year, someone was going to offer him a near max deal next summer if they did not extend him now.

Makes LA and Nic's contracts look genius.

Bennett looks so short.

I'd guess he's closer to 6'6" than he is 6'8"

Drummond is such a monster.

Remember when Rice predicted on draft night that he'd fall out of the first round?

KG is making $12M this season and is the Nets 5th highest paid player.

Damn..... 4/50+M

Talk about Damn:

Hayward Likely To Get $50M+ Extension From Jazz

Gordon Hayward and the Utah Jazz are expected to agree to an extension before the Oct. 31 deadline.

Hayward's deal is likely to be more lucrative than the four-year, $49 million extension teammate Derrick Favors signed last week.

Hayward has a lot of admirers in front offices around the NBA and would be a highly coveted restricted free agent target if a deal is not reached.

So is Hayward going to make more than Nic?

He scored 32 points in 32 minutes the next game.

We'll take it.

I love watching him play! In spite of me taking him last year in my fantasy league expecting him to return after ALL STAR break!

I'm messing with you bro. Your new romance with rebounding could not go untouched.

New? I've always been a fan of rebounding! #1 has always been rebounding for me, then defense, then post play. You can see why I was soooo depressed last season. We had none of the 3 that I love.

I agree with you on the importance of Rebounding.....that said I don't care if we average 75 a game we aren't top 3 in the west FAMS!

I would bet you a million dollars, if we averaged 75 rebounds a game; we would be the best team in the league.
