The #Blazers wanted this matchup in a workout to occur for some time: Steven Adams' bulk vs Rudy Gobert's length

Although I hope they dont put too much stock into it

So the Blazers have brought in how many centers? Pretty much all of them?

The only guy missing I can think of out of the wings is Shabazz. Hopefully they will bring him in last after is ankle sprain heals. Time is running out though.

Pretty much every center outside Dieng.

It seems like Portland is prepared for many scenarios. (Staying put, moving down,or adding the pick from Dallas) They have brought in a wide range of players. The only thing they have not brought in are players that they would need to move up to get. Of course that is often an agent decision.

If they really wanted to test Adams the should have brought in Dieng....

Call it the curious case of Steven Adams.

On paper, the Pittsburgh freshman is impressive. He's 7 feet and 254 pounds, with a wingspan of 7-5 and enormous hands (9.5 inches long, 11 inches wide).

In workouts, he is even better. Over the last few weeks Adams has showcased superior athleticism for a big man, while surprising team executives with a nice perimeter touch. He screens well, looks fluid in the pick-and-roll and runs the floor like a deer.

The problem? When the lights are on, Adams looks lost. At Pittsburgh, scouts routinely commented that the game appeared too fast for Adams, an opinion that was reiterated by team executives at the NBA combine last month. In addition, multiple executives expressed concern about Adams' laid-back disposition.

Similar to Leonard.....

I think it just makes him that more intriguing!

He's already 255 lbs. and has the frame to get into the 270's. Like a much more mobile version of Roy Hibbert.

Ben McLemore (scouting report) has firmly held the No. 2 spot on the SB Nation Big Board for some time, but in the last three months he has fallen from the top spot to No. 5 overall on ESPN's Big Board due to concerns about his lack of an alpha-dog mentality. In Chad Ford's mock draft 5.0, he reports that McLemore's lack of preparation for the draft process and a battle between overnearing handlers is hurting his stock. Ford suggests his workout with the Suns was unimpressive, but Dave King of Suns blog Bright Side of the Sun says he would still be ecstatic if McLemore fell to No. 5.

The Golden State Warriors do not own a draft pick this year, but general manager Bob Myers recently told the Contra Costa Times that if the front office identifies a player worth pursuing the purchase of a draft pick, ownership is "willing to spend" and will give the "green light." For the Warriors, everything will be contingent on how their board develops on draft day as other teams select prospects. Buying a second-round pick certainly seems like an option for Golden State.

If Nogueira fell to the second round he'd be worth a look, but remember, Freeland put up much better numbers in the ACB and the knock on him has always been a lack of "motor".

Here you go Ledo fans:

Oh come on, i bet some of these guys could be the sixth man depending on what they do in free agency.

If we can't get Gortat or another serviceable center, then our only hope may be one of these guys. Meyers would develop too, but I wouldn't mind seeing one more center in the fold--especially one with defensive skills.

The #Blazers No. 10 pick could very well be in this group. In so many ways, this is the most important workout thus far. #AdamsGobertLedo

McLemore, Oladipo, and Porter were in Cleveland yesterday working out. No one distinguished themselves. More confident Cavs go big or trade.

Dallas pick is available and Cavs appear to have parameters of a deal in place to move up from 19 for it. Target is Sergey Karasev.

At 7-2 Rudy Gobert has one of the largest wingspans recorded at 7'9. With hands up, he's a shade over 10ft. That should translate to blocks!

If that is true, I just lost all hope in Ole' as a GM.

#Blazers F Nicolas Batum sitting next to owner Paul Allen. Batum here to support his guy Rudy Gobert.

Candace Buckner ‏@blazerbanter 19s
Because of his crazy long wingspan, Rudy Gobert might just have the highest release point of a jumper I've ever seen. #Blazers

Steven Adams says this is the third time he's gone head-to-head against Rudy Gobert, calls him a 'large human being' #RipCityDraft
