PHX brought Michael Carter-Williams back Mon. for 2nd workout -- a year after they drafted Kendall Marshall and signed Goran Dragic. New GM.
 
A draft expert/insider for CBS is on the Jim Rome Show right now (guest host Grant Naper). He said he's heard it from a good source that CJ McCollum won't drop past Portland at #10. If he's there, he is going to be the Blazers pick, at 10. He also said that the Blazers will NOT pick Shabazz if he's there at #10.

You think it is possible, with rumors CLE is trying to make a mega deal, that they are trying to get Dallas 13th pick for us? Or T-Rob for us/them to replace Tristan? 1,13, Tristan/T-Rob for LMA?

My question is why in the fuck would we even pick a player for ourselves at 10?

If we trade for Jordan, we are keeping LA and making a serious playoff run.

Ben McLemore says he isn't getting out of the top-5. Anthony Bennett says he's definitely going in the top-6. Lots of good stuff coming.

Because we couldn't find a team willing to trade a vet to us for that pick that had more potential to help us then McC? Gortat for 10 is no guarantee. Same with McGee.

And, if Blazer Management believes LMA does want to leave (they know more than we here do), then why trade for a vet when you can bolster the future.

I think Bennett. Lack of size always seems to scare teams when push comes to shove.

It's all good dude. Just flippin' you shit. I love draft week, too. I keep one tab on S2, and the other on the Hoopshype twitter feed.

I get all geeked up for draft day. Sadly, for all the rumors, very little actually happens with the Blazers.
 
Yeah, I have a tough time seeing McLemore fall out of the top 5, but this draft more than any other I can recall looks to be a wild ride...
 
McLemore isn't worth a top 3 pick. I wouldn't be too surprised if he dropped.

I think that the Blazers will listen to Aldridge offers. Seriously listen. Given how good he is, I do think there's a solid chance he's played his last game in a Blazers jersey. The Blazers aren't going to give him away obviously, but he's an intriguing trade target for a lot of teams.

I disagree, I think with what he has had to deal with in his life, his generally naive nature from what has been reported and the nitpicking that occurs playing under the Kansas spotlight his negatives are being overstated and his positives being discounted....

They say best case Ray Allen and one comparison I saw (and agreed with) was his floor could be an Allen Housten....which I do not think is bad as a floor...

Was told 2 weeks ago #Cavs weren't interested in T-Rob. From all indications, that hasn't changed. I'd say the Robinson for #19 isn't true
 
What do you think the Orlando Magic will do with pick #2 ? & Will they make a deal for Bledsoe ?

If Noel is there at No. 2, I believe strongly that the Magic would take him there. If he's off the board, I think Victor Oladipo or Ben McLemore are the guy. Like them both, but hearing they lean Oladipo right now. As for Bledsoe? They're trying to make a deal, but Clipps asking for a lot more than Afflalo right now.

I agree with this, unless Noel slips...I can see ORL taking Oladipo at #2....

There's nothing special about the guy. He's athletic and can shoot....that's about it. He can't dribble and he played PF in high school. I think his ceiling is a solid starter ALA Wesley Matthews. Not worth a top 3 pick.

I seriously don't see why he's a much better prospect than say KCP.

This confuses me, they have Shved whom they like, they are possibly acquiring Brooks AND they will draft a SG? I think this is a contigency if KCP isn't there.....or perhaps rumours that they like Zeller may be true...

ORL @ #2 has been mentioned as well, I don't believe it....but with this draft you never know....

Kahn left quite the legacy. First it was to acquire all PGs, then all former Blazers, now it's all SGs. One track mind.
