It seems like the last few years, deals are done contingent to the draft working as planned. The picks aren't swapped as much beforehand, but the trades are already agreed to.

Becoming harder to map a scenario where UNLV's Anthony Bennett doesn't slide on board. He could leave Portland with choice at No. 10.

He has been the guy that I can see sliding all along. There are too many things working against him. But he would be amazing for our bench.

If Anthony Bennett slides to No. 10, he instantly becomes the Andre Drummond of this draft. I have him as the second best prospect.

Man, on CBS draft preview they raved about him...inside\outside game, godd athleticism and bulk and long arms...lots of offensive moves...

I think he has great talents but between the oddness of this draft, being undersized for his position, being from a smaller conference, injuries and other things I think teams will trick themselves out of his talent.

There will also be deals contingent on player being available when trade partner picks. If player isn't there then the deal could be off.
 
We seem poised in a good position to hit a good prospect sliding. I'd take him and run. What if Bennett and McCollum were both there at 10????

Try as hard as possible to trade for #11 and get both.

Yea lol. But having Aldridge still on board does hurt those chances as well. If we want to go in full tank mode next years draft is the draft to do it and we need to unload Aldridge soon. Otherwise will be in the late lotto again especially if we get help on our bench.

The Cavs have not moved the No. 1 pick but not for lack of trying - and one source says they haven't yet given up doing so.
 
WTF do the Cavs want, supposedly they are tryin like hell to move the #1 and also are after are #10 pick to get the Ruski guy. Ok, how bout the #10 and Leonard and our Greek guy for the #1 and Varajeo? lol
