agreed, maybe targeting Burke, and need to get ahead of N.O. at 6, so would maybe include him for a top 5 pick. Really, if I am almost any team in the top 5, I'd do it. Orlando, 2 for Kanter? Charlotte, 4 for Kanter.

If Oladipo is gone, Phoenix may look to move down a bit in hopes of picking up another asset and still getting their #2 target, Cody Zeller


That would mean with POR, as it sure looks like Zeller would be the guy there at #10....

ya think Kanter is worth that much? I don't
 
There usually are a couple of trades in the 2 days preceding the draft. Nothing in this one. Maybe TNT (they still doing it?) have in their contract that the league office withholds any draft day news, letting TNT announce news at the start of the show (1 1/2 hours from now at predraft show or in 2 hours at draft).

Zeller also has a lot of fans in Charlotte's front office, but there's only one guy calling the shots there: MJ. Would he take him at #4?


If POR wants KCP or McCollum to drop to them, then I think they need a team to take Zeller before them...or...a surprise "where the hell did that come from" pick...like Karasev.

I do. I dunno. Like him every time I see him. Still only 21. Reminds me some of Al Horford, I dunno. He seems more of a sure thing than anyone in the draft, and still young.

The draft is on ESPN, not TNT

I think if they want to, and they may not b\c they want to preserve cap space....then there best bet especially for this draft is to wait and see what is on the board at certain trade opportunity points\teams willing to deal thier pick...

I just don't like how Woj announces the picks 2 mins before Stern. It's both pointless and kills the little suspense involved in watching the show. And it's not like you can avoid it, cuz everyone retweets it.

Yeah that is why I just watch it on tv, sometimes I might have the Blazers broadcast going as well...

#10 is kind of No Man's Land. All the good players have gone so you've entered the gambling zone. I prefer further down where you're prepared to take solid contributors and they end up being better, because most of the gambles flame out. But if you want to gamble, take Schroeder. Everybody who writes about him gushes. I think he'd be ranked higher except none of the numbers guys know what to do with his German League stats.

no, I get ya. It seemed odd last year, like, why are you bothering Woj? Just let them announce it. But at the same time, I realized I don't really care to listen to the draft guys all that much on ESPN anyways, so while I am watching to watch, following more for other rumors, so wasn't bothering me a whole ton.
