Why is he taking 14 shots?

I didn't watch the game, but maybe they are experimenting with his offense. Kind of like we did with Pendergraph one summer. You knew he would never get those shots in a regular season game, but none the less you wanted to see if he could expand his offense.

I caved and paid the $15 bucks. Streams were laggy. This is crystal clear, no lag and you can watch archived games any time. I would spend that much on a good breakfast out. I do miss the two wiseguys who used to do the commentary when it was streamed for free on the Magic's page, but not the quality of the camerawork.

Free if you had the nba league pass this past season FAMS!

Sent from my baller ass iPad FAMS!

I refuse to give Comcast my money, and I haven't decided on dish or direct TV, but no biggie

are you within the 150 mile League pass blackout zone or whatever it is? If you go Dish or direct look into using a mailing address our of Oregon if you can so if you order League pass you get all the broadcasts - I think you can work it that way

Blazers second round pick Grant Jarrett finished with a game high 17 points today for the Thunder. That's interesting to note, because his collegiate career high was only 15 points.
Christ. NEVER sell a draft pick for cash.

SMH

Carter-Williams looks like he's put a little weight on since college. He's still got a long ways to go. You never know though, Curry's gotten away with it. MCW doesn't have Curry's jumpshot though.

Siva is a pest, but doesn't really seem to have much effect, and doesn't even look to shoot.

It's probably a good thing that he wasn't looking for his shot, and that's something that his agent probably drilled into his head. He's just a poor decision maker on both sides of the court. He's explosive, but he gambles too much on defense and can play out of control on offense. I don't see him as a "reliable backup point guard" in any sense of the phrase.

I caught the first half of that game, and was it just me, or did that Russian center they had on the bench last season actually look pretty good?

EDIT: Just looked him up... Viacheslav Kravtsov. Didn't play much last year, but he's only 25 and has legitimate size. He's listed at 6'11", and unlike a lot of the guys out there... he actually looked it. The Pistons actually have a pretty decent frontcourt shaping up with him, Monroe, Drummond, and now Josh Smith in the fold. They just need to figure out what to do with their "shoot-first, ask questions later" backcourt.

I was gonna say... those are pretty good first day summer league stats... until you get to the 8-23 shooting and 9 turnovers. He's not going to get anywhere near 23 shots per game with Philly next season, and what are 8 assists if you get 9 turnovers in the process? Not to mention, considering how he won't have that great of a height advantage against real NBA competition, his only other really redeemable stat, the 7 rebounds, also seems watered down.

Rewatching the game and at least 6 of those points Osby scored came when Olynyk wasn't in the game. At least 6 and I'm not at halftime yet.

You're so easy to get a rise out of. It really isn't on you to defend Olynyk's honor. The kid's going to be okay.

Very, I have noticed it more than once and it makes him even shorter

Grant Jerrett just stands on the three point land and shoots it ever time he touches it. He's like the destitute man's Channing Frye.

They're playing him at PG, and he looks about the right size. I'd like to see him next to Westbrook - I imagine they're about the same size.

Reggie Jackson had the play of the game - a huge dunk on Mo Harkless.

Really love Andre Roberson. I wonder if the Thunder took him in the first round because they knew the Blazers were about to get the first pick in the second.

Where'd all the Jeremy Lamb fanboyz go?

He looks like shit as a 2nd year player in SL.

Leonard > Lamb all day, everyday, any damn day

BTW, Mason Plumlee looks nice. Reminds me of Kris Humphries type.

He played like shit all game and beat some stiff on an open shot from the FT line. Look at how extended he dribbles the ball, by the way. He's Kirk Snyder Junior. He was 3-15 shooting today and had 12 points.

Plus, the "dipshit" call is unnecessary, and every regular here knows how you embarrassed yourself with the Barnes stuff last summer.

The guy he beat was Mo Harkless...a pretty good young player...

Behind the back step back...not an easy move...though I doubt you would know that....

Baller! Is that the highlight of his NBA career? 4-16 from the field, 1-9 from the 3. But, he did hit the winning shot of a scrimmage game.

Major props...

That was some bad defense. He had his back turned to Lamb by the time he almost ran into the help defender.

Lamb's 9-38 from the field in his 2nd year of SL.

Gimme some of that 18% FG shooting.

This thread proves Zags is indeed a "dipshit"

First he says Lamb sucks for struggling in SL

Then he says big deal about making a nice move and hitting the game winning shot, it's just SL

Then he goes back to saying he sucks because he's struggling in SL, and thinks 9-38 is 18% (it's really 24%).

Blaze had it right by calling him a dipshit. I probably would have gone with moron, but that's me.

Its cute when you're desperate and defensive.

My bad, SL doesn't mean anything, its all about how you do in the real games. And Lamb has done so well.......oh wait..

NEVERMIND.

Hitching yourself to Blaze01... Good luck with that.

Lamb is shit.
