Yeah, I worded that wrong, sorry. But we were a 33 win team last season, and added a few key pieces, but had guys on the rise. Phoenix was a 25 win team, and they dropped 6 of their top 7 scorers from last season. I like Bledsoe and Dragic. but Bledsoe has played about half the season. I just think taking that team to within 5.5 of us, with the offseasons, is more impressive. I dunno. We'll see what the rest of the season holds, though.

I disagree. I think they're doing slightly better than I thought they would before the season started, but I would not have been surprised to see them in 8th. I think a lot of people slept on them, but they have some talented guys. I think Horny is doing a good job, but I also think they have the talent to make the playoffs.

Their own front office didn't believe in this team. They didn't give Bledsoe a contract extension when they had a chance and they traded away one of their top players in Gortat for an injured Okafor who is a FA this offseason. they were clearly looking at trying to get a top pick and instead their one of the better teams in the league. I think that is all due to Hornacek. He has really gotten the most out of quite a few career backups and unproven young players. He's doing something really special after their front office tried their best to sabotage their season before it even started.

On opening night on TNT, Kenny, Charles, Shaq, and Ernie all picked their top 8 teams in the West. Not ONE of them picked us. Now they act like "of course, they're good." Not one of them picked us.

Oh HELL no.

Real Madrid has lost ONE game all season (and that to CSKA Moskow, not some Spanish team). They are the most dominant team in basketball. They're trying to lock down Mirotic for the long run (which would piss off Chicago). They are also great to watch - I don't think Rudy would fancy leaving Chacho again. Sometimes I honestly wonder whether I should be pissed that there are so many flopping teams and players in the league or that we are missing the boat on being one of them. I really cant stand it and I hope the league takes another step to clean it up but I hate losing because we really dont do it.

Harden is a flopmeister. He's already been fined for it, which makes it all the more puzzling that refs keep falling for it.

And don't tell Kevin Durant we're not a flopping team. Fuck flopping, I want us to be the '90s Knicks. Or basically any post-Lakers Pat Riley team. I can't even enjoy the points we score because we immediately allow layups on the other end.

Holy shit, did they call that on Ariza? That is a moving screen AND and hold by Harden. God I hate Harden. Almost as much as I hate NBA refs.
 
Boy would it be great if a shitty Lakers team took it to OKC! Less ping pong balls for lakers and a loss for the thundurants = win for blazer fans
 
Watching Lakers/OKC. Kendall Marshall would sure look great as our bu PG. Steve Blake stills goes after a loose ball as hard as anyone in the league. Kaman is still hustling and is a good passer, still seems to be able to intimidate under the basket.

She asked several questions after the game to Durant. She mentioned something she said to Westbrook 4 years ago, she said. How did she get onto TNT?
