Missing Thanksgiving, Christmas, my wife’s birthday, my daughter and son’s birthday......but other than that, the schedule looks great.
Damn it BNM, please don't screw up Mrs HCP's birthday for the rest of us.Mrs. HCP jokes aside, do you ever take your wife on the road with you? It sucks that you have to work on her birthday, but depending on where the Blazers play that day, maybe fly her in for a night or two, assuming a night off between games. Might be a special treat for her to enjoy a nice dinner in a New York (or wherever the team is playing) restaurant and maybe some shopping while in town.

Your first in line?Is @HCP posting this to let us know when mrs hcp is available?
That day is your half birthday? Born at 12:00AM on the dot?
Jokes aside that’s kind of lame. :/Missing Thanksgiving, Christmas, my wife’s birthday, my daughter and son’s birthday......but other than that, the schedule looks great.

9 of first 13 games at home.
Sometimes I really want to ignore some posters, including myself...Crap, I wish that there had already been a post that had already posted about this and instead of having this post put another post on ignore like a child it could've just seen that it was already posted.
Thanks man. Ya when the schedule leaks, we sit down and figure out when she can come out and join me somewhere. Usually once or twice a season. Spoil her at the hotel and spend some time together. NYC, Miami, SF. She's been to some cool places. She loves the team hotel as well. Kids come out every now and then too.Mrs. HCP jokes aside, do you ever take your wife on the road with you? And on the other hand, as crazy and hectic my schedule is from Oct-May......it's pretty chill the rest of the year. I work, but have a bunch of time off. Just looked at my calendar and since flying home from the Game 4 loss @ NOLA, I've had 70 days off. I have friends that only get 2 to 3 weeks off a YEAR. So I defiantly take time off in the summer to be with the FAM. It can be tough though.
Did the Mrs. go down to Brazil with you a year or two ago? Thanks man. Ya when the schedule leaks, we sit down and figure out when she can come out and join me somewhere. Ehhhhhh. I am well compensated by the team for sure. But I’m not salary. I get a day rate for work. So they only pay me for what, six months a year. If I was a single guy with an apartment, sure. But I have two teenagers, two car payments and a mortgage. My wife took 8 or 9 years off when the kids arrived, and then we moved back into the neighborhood we both grew up in, so our mortgage nearly doubled. So I really had to grab as much work in th offseason as I could. She has since gone back working full time, so it allows a little break for me in summer for sure. Family is used to me traveling, it’s all they’ve known. So I make sure I go and watch all my kids practices, knowing I’ll miss some games. And in the falls I’m doing fights, I’ll catch my son’s Friday night football games, leave on 6 am flights Saturday morning, work and be on 6am flights back home Sunday morning to catch my daughter’s soccer games. Can be a grind for sure, but I love it.I mean in theory the Blazers gig pays enough to take the summer off if you wanted to right? You just choose to take some gigs over the summer for the extra cash right?
No. We talked about it. I worked 18 of 20 Days I was there. 12 hour days and we were in these weird dorm style apartments. She knew it wouldn’t be a fun trip for her. I’ve taken her with me to Hawaii for work and Mexico though.Did the Mrs. go down to Brazil with you a year or two ago?
No but she did get a Brazilian for me to go down on a year or two ago...Did the Mrs. go down to Brazil with you a year or two ago?
Me too.And see, what I want to do is print it as a month by month calendar. LOL
We are both fucked...End of the world.

It's probably best to print it landscape, not portrait.
