I think Dame we'll be more than pissed off in another year or so if we waste his prime. No matter how much the players sit around a campfire and point at each other and say "I like you." He'll blame somebody and that most likely will be Neil. I'm not saying it will happen immediately but it will.
 
If we aren't going to make a move to improve the team then just say fuck it and get Deng from the Lakers.

Lakers get McRoberts and Davis
Mavs get Harkless and a 2018 2nd round pick from Lakers (via Denver)
Blazers get Deng, 2018 1st round pick from Lakers (via Cleveland), 2020 1st round pick from Lakers (unprotected)
 
1st rounders have an all-time high value now. Got to use it in a deal like it's Bitcoin before the crash. We don't need any more rookies.
 
For those of you wanting Neil to do something *10 minutes ago*...

It bares mentioning that the types of trades he likely has on the table are not ones that he can leverage in getting done now... VERY likely whatever is on the table, given what we're trying to trade and wanting back are lowball offers... Those aren't the types of deals you say yes to with time on the clock. If Neil does something (like VC for a contract, as has been mentioned, for example), that's gonna go down with minutes to spare... not hours.
 
So honestly guys what the fuck is the plan heading into the offseason. How are you gonna pay nurk and ed, Napier? Or are we gonna let -a couple walk and sign nurk? How will you shed the contracts of Meyers, turner, and harkless? Actually, how the fuck are we gonna get anybody else on this team as an upgrade? Especially since cj and Collins are safe?

I asked Dame a few years ago, who he has the toughest time against and he didn’t even hesitate. He said Bradley plays him the toughest. Said he really respect his game and court demeanor.

Well you know, he’s had quite a bit of time. It’s not like all gm’s had 5 hours to get a deal done. Weeks. God damn weeks

If a player is dead their salary no longer counts against the cap.

I just thought it was important to point this out.

I doing know. Olshey fucked up and the deadline is really his last chance to fix it.

You have to trade Napier at the very least. I can't see Ed Davis being part of this team's future either after this season.
