Welcome to the club. More and more are starting to see him for what he really is....
For the record, I've always had VERY mixed thoughts about the guy. From the start I hated his hire of Terry. I've ALWAYS blasted his Free Agent choices. I've been mixed on his trade history. The only area in which he was better than average is in the draft. And because I feel that draft and trades are the ONLY way for us to build a team, I was willing to overlook his suckiness in the one area that's least important to our team. If he hadn't fucked himself with his inept Free Agency decisions then I'd be fine with him (not thrilled, but fine).

Folks, we don't have the assets to do anything better.
Because (for example), Iman Shumpert, Channing Frye, and Jae Crowder (what the Cavs used to make their Lakers and Jazz/Kings deals) are a significantly better trio of assets than, say, Al-Farouq Aminu, Ed Davis, and Maurice Harkless?

No--we have assets, but they have been mismanaged and overvalued, and the FO is paralyzed by fear of making a bad deal.

All I can say is thank god Vonleh is gone! What a locker room cancer he turned out to be. Single handily brought us down from a playoff contender to fringe playoff team. Good riddens!

Would Clarkson, Joe Johnson or Nance make us so much better that it would be worth giving up first round pick?

All teams in that trade gave up something more valuable than what we would have been willing to offer and got less than we would need to make us much better.
