Why would SAC want IT... IT isn't going to resign and they have Fox...

Also, no wss they give up IT, Love, and the BKN pick for CJ and Love.

Sacramento takes IT because he's an expiring and they get out of Hill's huge deal. Cleveland trades IT because he's damaged goods, shooting 36%, and is having the worst defensive rated season in the 25 years they've been keeping that stat. Sacramento would say yes immediately.

Cleveland gets Aminu and Davis to help out and they get out of one of their shitty contracts. They've blamed Love for everything and now that he's hurt he isn't helping much this year which I'm hoping that they decide to say fuck it and go for it. I said it would be dumb but they have LeBron calling them out and refusing to be traded so you never know.

NYK Gets: Maurice Harkless, Jon Lueur, Shabazz Napier (TPE), 2019 MIN/LAL 2nd
DET Gets: Courtney Lee, Michael Beasley, 2020 POR 2nd, 2021 POR 2nd
POR Gets: Jarrett Jack, Willy Hernangomez, ~$10M Trade Exception, 2020 DET 1st

Then:
WAS Gets: Ed Davis, DeMarre Carroll, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jeremy Lin
BKN Gets: Evan Turner, Ian Mahinmi, Sheldon Mac, 2018 WAS 1st, Best of 2020 DET/POR 1sts
POR Gets: Kelly Oubre, Jason Smith, Jodie Meeks, ~$13M Trade Exception

Then:
CLE Gets: Al-Farouq Aminu
LAL Gets: Channing Frye, Worst of 2020 POR/DET 1sts, 2018 CLE 2nd, 2021 CLE 2nd
POR Gets: Julius Randle

Lillard / McCollum
McCollum / Meeks
Oubre / Connaughton
Randle / Collins
Nurkic / Hernangomez

We only lose our 2020 1st, shed $25M in salary, have lots of trade exceptions.
When do you sleep?

That explains why you think it’s a good idea for Blazers to give up their 1st rd pick this year for Wes Matthews... a 32 year old 6’4” small forward, who has torn his achilles, is shooting 40% fg this year, and is making 19 mil per

Do you ever shut up?

Sorry, everyone who wanted Hernangomez in Portland. Not happening...

31 year old 6'5" SG shooting 41% this year making 17.9M
But still, I wouldn't give up a 1st for him either.

Not a fan of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar or Hakeem Olajuwon, eh?

Okay, fine. There are exceptions to my rule. But I figure if you’re going to waste that much uniform real estate on a name, you may as well stack two players up. Dame on Ed’s shoulders: Lillard-Davis.

If THAT was all it cost for Hernangomez, NOW we can grab the torches and pitchforks...

I'm probably wrong and the Knicks are just really fucking stupid but it makes me think there is something wrong with Hernangomez. Maybe he is super lazy or something. It just doesn't make sense.

Even if that's the case though, unless that "something wrong" is common knowledge across the league, you'd have to think they'd be able to find a better return than that.

I agree--doesn't make sense to me either.

In a fire sale why would you trade your 2nd year center who made the All-Rookie team last year for peanuts?
Teams ate desperate to clear money and start over. Neil doesn't get this, but it's a thing

He asked for a trade, Hornacek didn’t trust him, and there were evidently concerns about his defense and work ethic.

Just what I read, I don’t actually know why. But that return seems low, so maybe those concerns are real.

Maybe but the guy is averaging 17 and 10 per-36 and their best big just went down.

Come on, man. Platypus beat you to the punch line by five minutes.
You should know that MM doesn't like
