Everything except dramatic hand gestures to the head and heartwarming redemption storiesby what metric?
Surprisingly, Gary Trent was shockingly bad. His breakout play was pretty much confined to the play-in games (listed first below):yeah, Melo was pretty bad in the playoffs, but he had plenty of company
Is Olshey gonna scrubb at 16?
I can only imagine how upset I'll be if someone like Saddiq Bey is available at 16 and he takes Scrubb instead...

#3 is Robert Woodard:I really like the first two guys he discusses and we've been linked with the fourth. Don't know about #3
I haven't, nor do I really claim to know anything more about him than is what is put forth in the videos and scouting reports. But the general consensus is that one is a project that will take a few years, and one is a player who seems ready to contribute from day one. Independent of their respective abilities or potential, taking another "project" would seem to run counter to what we're supposedly trying to accomplish with Dame's prime window. What I'd be upset about isn't the player, but Neil's intentions in using the assets available for getting the roster where it needs to be.how many times have you seen Scrubb play?
From the little I've read about this guy, he seems very intriguing to me.
Just a little I seen of him he reminds me shorter version of Bazley. But would I gamble on him at 16 probably not. But 46th maybe. From the little I've read about this guy, he seems very intriguing to me.
Agreed--probably not a 16, but likely won't last to 46. Wouldn't mind trading up for him.Just a little I seen of him he reminds me shorter version of Bazley. But would I gamble on him at 16 probably not. But 46th maybe.

Scouts, analysts, common sense--I seriously doubt that a juco-player is going to be NBA-ready from day one. And again, that's what I'm looking at. I don't doubt that there will be players available at 16 with significantly higher ceilings than some of the upper-classmen who project to already be role-player caliber. I won't be surprised if Scrubb is a starter 2-3 years down the road. Those are irrelevant to my thought process, what I think should be focused on given the current status of the team.ok but where is that consensus coming from, the media? I’m just saying, if Scrubb gets taken at 16, it’s because Olshey believed in him more than anybody else that was available. And he has a lot more access to information than anyone outside of the business.
If Scrubb becomes an impact player, who really cares where he was drafted? I’d at least give it a year, two, or maybe even three, before crying about what a dumb selection it was.
If we are healthy, it will still be a while before Hood is back, and who knows what shape he'll be in when he is. A 3-D wing would have space in the rotation from day 1, ahead of Little, IMO.Well who ever the draft most likely won't be in rotation this coming year if we are healthy. So there drafting for the future not for this year.
Talked about him Ty-Shon earlier in the thread, but he's one of my favorite deep sleepers.
Think he has a chance to stick if he finds a good situation. Charlotte, Philly and Boston stand out to me in the mid/late 2nd.
Stiff jumper, shot well last year but was horrible the year before. Dont trust his jumper. Defensively he's good but his perimeter skills are awful and if he isnt a good 3pt shooter, he wont be NBA caliber IMO.
Agree. Btw I love your draft videos so far. They’ve been on point!Stiff jumper, shit well last year but was horrible the year before. Dont trust his jumper. Defensively he's good but his perimeter skills are awful and if he isnt a good 3pt shooter, he wont be NBA caliber IMO.
Don't like him any more - this is a crappy interpretation of Plato's parable of the cave.I didn't think I could like Saddiq Bey more!
Well, at least he's got healthy bowels.Stiff jumper, shit well last year but was horrible the year before. Dont trust his jumper. Defensively he's good but his perimeter skills are awful and if he isnt a good 3pt shooter, he wont be NBA caliber IMO.

I just don't see the path to playing time for him. He's also pretty duplicative with GTJ.Why not us?
