Pritch got drafted by historically one of the best talent evaluators. In the 1st round. Right on

The family seemed pretty confident about things leading up to draft night. Night surprised he went this high, not surprised he happened to go to Boston.

Maybe what we need is a new GM. Other teams find rookies who can come right in and contribute!
May be a coaching thing because I guarantee you that Olshey would have liked to have seen Ant get more minutes by now... after all he's the best athlete Olshey has ever seen.

Being a great athletic don't mean you will a great basketball player.

I'm not trying to say that Ant should be playing, he looks lost out there... I was just commenting that Olshey may not be drafting guys to sit on the bench. The athlete part was a shot at Olshey because he was selling Ant sooo hard after drafting him.

Dallas just got Josh Richardson and the 36th pick for Seth Curry. Wow, they must really value Seth to give up such a good three and D guy but like I've been saying when talking about them needing CJ, they need more perimeter offense.

I know maybe I should explain myself better.

So Seth’s coach is his father in law?

Yeah, that's gonna be interesting. When Doc coached Austin they would get into it on the sideline but Seth is a little laid back and it's his father in law not his dad. Might be rough for Seth or really great.

It's interesting for me that Dallas feels like Richardson has more worth than Curry. Idon't think they just gave him up to get the 36 th pick.

He also coached his daughter's ex in Paul George, who had previously cheated on her while impregnating a stripper, who he reportedly paid to get an abortion.

NBA days of our lives.

Kind of part of the deal though when you draft 19 year old, raw guards. You throw them to the wolves and they get their confidence shattered and it could be career ending.

A lot of getting drafted is having the talent. All these guys are super talented. A good portion of it is believing in your talents and harvesting it.

That's not that interesting to me. Seth is a good effort defender who can score in a lot of ways but Richardson is a lock down 3 and D.

Nwora, Mason Jones, Woodard and Scrubb all left. Wouldn't mind any of those.

Hmmm, usually when you throw them to the Wolves is when they have good games and we think they're better than they are.

Maybe initially. Then the scouting reports come out.

Nik Stauskas’ first 6 games as a Blazer were magical. As were Armon Johnson. Jake Layman’s.

I don’t think us giving Simons more burn would have won us any more games

Richardson is a FA after this year, and Curry has 3 more reasonable years at 8 per year. Definitely think Curry is the better asset here. Not to mention Morey is now in charge of Philly, which means elite shooting is a must. Richardson was always one of those guys who was a better shooter in theory than reality. Curry is elite.
