Sadly it's the only way he would be able to get a ring on a Portland basketball team in his career.
How funny would it be if Charles Barkley came out of retirement just to get a summer league ring.

Fuck Summer League now, I was watching a lot of games to see the new prospects around the league but this Shaedon injury has soured me to the whole thing. It must be @Fairly-Hard for some people who went to Vegas and I'm sure can still enjoy the games and the other amenities the city has to offer but were probably most looking forward to watching Shaedon.

i didnt bother with a single game yesterday. just saw the box scores and found out how well others did. only pissed me off even more.

debating shutting down for the summer.

It's a crushing blow to my interest and maybe I'll feel different in a week and catch the playoffs but I seriously doubt it. This fucking sucks.

I’m here for a Tae Kwan Do tournament.
Leaving today.
No loss at all for me? Was nice to get a chance to check it out.

Honestly, he was a project that was going to take years anyway (realistically) so this bumps it by a year.

So he will pop in year 3 or 4 instead of year 2.

If he makes a complete recovery (and he should) would you rather it happen now or right as he enters his window? And realistically, that was years away. Not this year.

That's my silver lining

Keegan showing that “age” advantage and storming back! Showing the importance of maturity and experience certainly.

Are we talking about Sharpe? I think this will set him back a couple of months. 3-4 games of summer league would have been nice, but that's all it was 3-4 games and a couple of months of working out. I didn't expect much from him this year, we are deep at his position. But I see no reason why he can't contribute the following year.

Either way, this is just a minor setback. More of a setback for the fans than the player.

Indiana must have been okay with letting go of Brogdon because they have a lot of faith in Nembhard’s play. Very similar players. Absolute lockdown defenders with selfless playmaking abilities

Banchero has put up solid numbers. Would expect him to have solid opportunities this season.

ROY may be the tightest it’s been in years. As a league fan, that’s great news.

Also puts pressure on the ownership around the league for recent contracts.

I’ve had my mess ups, but I feel like I’m generally pretty good about my scouting.

Ochai Agbaji is legit. I wanted to draft him. I’ll pull for Sharpe, but Ill also be pulling for Ochai. Hopefully he can find a consistent and solid role with the Cavs, because I like everything I’ve seen about the young man on and off the court.

I thought Terrance Ferguson would find a good role in the league. I think he faced an unfortunate situation in OKC. So much of it is situational. It’s like 50% situation and 50% rising to the occasion. Dame did both, which is why he was 100% from day one.

Players whom have the opportunity and make the best out of it. Sharpe has the opportunity, we will be something if he makes the best out of it. Dame practically said it himself as he was talking about Sharpe proving himself deserving of that pick in the draft. Keeping in mind that Dame was picked only one spot ahead of him at #6; and knows he’s one of the best players of his generation.
