Yeah, and you're one of those that will claim Trump kicked her ass in their debate. Talk about denial.
Did I? He was better, but he only had to show up for that. She did better than expected, but it's because she got all the questions before hand, was well rehearsed, and had the moderators on her side. He should have dominated her even more, but seemed to be winging it.

Literally taken a position that only the most indoctrinated MAGA believe.

Kudos for not being afraid to show how out there you are.

Seriously, you're actually upset over people mocking David KKK Duke endorings a Jewish person? Ridiculing the religious part of this and not the actual white supremacist is not a good look.
Oh was i upset? Lol. Are you guys actually serious with your kneejerk reactions of calling everyone racist? Or is this an inside joke i’m being left out of?

I was ridiculing the rabid neoliberal maniac for using the phrase “RUSSIAN AGENT JILL STEIN…” in his stupid deranged tweet.
I don’t give two fucks about David Duke. I didn’t even address that part of the tweet.

Maybe racism will die in this country when white liberals quit trying to squeeze it out of turnips.

David Duke is literally a racist. It's not a kneejerk reaction to call him one. There is no joke here, inside or other, David Duke is a racist.

And are you sure it's racism you want to die, or people who call out racists? Last I've checked, David Duke is not a Democrat.

Is someone claiming David Duke is not a racist? He says so himself!

Yeah, and you're one of those that will claim Trump kicked her ass in their debate. Talk about denial.

Imagine saying Harris is bad while your own candidate the same day was talking about calling out the military on Nancy and Paul Pelosi and said he was just passing along that he heard it was reported that legal immigrants were eating neighbors' pets and "a lot of other things they shouldn't be" after earlier this week forgetting what song he wanted played at his own town hall, where he stopped answering questions and spent more than a half-hour listening to music.

Baier constantly interrupted Harris. His questions were Republican talking points. He literally played a Trump campaign ad. He lied about Trump's threats against political opponents.

She remained calm, did not take bait, made her points. She was presidential.

Imagine Trump doing unscripted unedited interview with Rachel Maddow, who is not rude to guests. You can't.

At this point, i know you aren’t a stupid person, so i have to assume you are being deceitful on purpose. I made a comment more or less defending Jill Stein from a really silly attack calling her a Russian agent. Despite explaining that twice now, you still refuse to address it and would rather take the shameless route of simply lumping me in with the likes of someone like David Duke. Do better.

Perhaps giving ANY attention whatsoever to a washed-up bigot from the 80’s is counterproductive to everyone on all sides.

I didn't lump you in with David Duke. Here is your post, not sure how that is defending Jill Stein.

It was in reference to the lefty twitter maniac attacking Jill Stein, who is also a lefty. I suppose “defending” her may be a stretch, but i was certainly calling out an unfounded criticism of her. I was commenting on the state of lefties attacking lefties for not subscribing to the neolib agenda. David Duke just happened to be adjacent in the tweet, he has no relevance to any point i was trying to make.

It’s just irritating to make a comment, have it lazily be labeled as racist-adjacent, then it gets a bunch of likes from people who will click like on anything attacking another poster they dont like…and then the myth is further perpetuatated that I secretly subscribe to some racist ideologies. And it all stems from nothing.

To be fair, it stemmed--in this case--from a lack of clarity on your part. (The fact that you quoted crandc instead of the original post that included the tweet didn't help) But I totally get what you're saying now. I actually appreciate that you took the time to clarify your comments; makes a lot more sense now.

A Jewish person saying Jill Stein is Jewish is hardly an attack. @crandc didn't criticise her unless you think calling someone Jewish is a criticism. She also didn't bring up the Russian thing. Your post might have made a bit better sense if you had replied to the person who posted two tweets about David Duke and Jill Stein.

Wow. This is painful at this point. @crandc had nothing to do with any of it. I was making fun of the person who made the original tweet for calling Jill Stein a Russian agent.
How is it this confusing?

Because she was referencing a tweet, and i was adding to what she said.
Tell me more about how racist i am for it.

I have never said you were racist. Maybe a speciesist but then again I am since I think dogs are clearly superior to cats.

Trump says Jan. 6 was a "day of love," glossing over his supporters' assault on officers

Washington
— Former President Donald Trump insisted that the Jan. 6 attack, when his supporters stormed the Capitol and assaulted scores of law enforcement officers, was not a day of violence, but a "day of love" when "nothing" was "done wrong."

The Republican presidential nominee was asked about the assault on the Capitol at a Univision town hall on Wednesday, where a voter who said he used to be a registered Republican but was troubled by Trump's behavior during the riot said the former president could still win his vote.

"I want to give you the opportunity to try to win back my vote. OK?" said the voter. "Your — I'm going to say — action and maybe inaction during your presidency, and the last few years, sort of, was a little disturbing to me. What happened Jan. 6 and the fact that, you know, you waited so long to take action while your supporters were attacking the Capitol. ... I'm curious how people so close to you and your administration no longer want to support you, so why would I want to support you? If you would answer these questions for me I would really appreciate it, and give you the opportunity. You know, your own vice president doesn't want to support you now."

Trump responded by blasting former Vice President Mike Pence, saying he "totally disagreed with him on what he did," an apparent reference to Pence's refusal to reject the Electoral College votes after the 2020 presidential election. Pence has repeatedly — and accurately — said he had no constitutional authority to do anything but accept the results, withstanding repeated attacks from Trump and Trump's supporters.

Trump said of his supporters who came to Washington on Jan. 6, "They didn't come because of me — they came because of the election. They thought the election was a rigged election, and that's why they came."

But just over two weeks before Jan. 6, on Dec. 19, 2020, Trump had tweeted, "Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!"

Trump went on to say some of his supporters "went down to the Capitol, I said peacefully and patriotically. Nothing done wrong, at all, nothing done wrong. And action was taken, strong action. Ashli Babbitt was killed, nobody was killed.

"There were no guns down there, we didn't have guns," Trump continued. "The others had guns, but we didn't have guns. And when I say we, these are people that walked down. This was a tiny percentage of the overall, which nobody sees and nobody shows. But that was a day of love from the standpoint of the millions, it's like hundreds of thousands, it could have been the largest group I've ever spoken before. They asked me to speak, I went, and I spoke. And I used the term peacefully and patriotically."

Trump's portrayal of Jan. 6, which he often repeats, bears little resemblance to the violent scene that played out at the Capitol that day.

More than 1,000 people have been convicted in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, and about 350 trials are still pending. Hundreds of defendants have been charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding officers or employees, including over 100 people charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer, according to the Justice Department's figures from January 2024.

About 140 police officers were assaulted on Jan. 6 — roughly 80 from the U.S. Capitol Police and about 60 from D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department. Four people died at the Capitol that day, and one officer who was on duty during the riot died days later. Four police officers who were stationed at the Capitol on Jan. 6 died by suicide in the months that followed.

Trump's statement that there were no guns at all is false. Court documents, photos and video show several rioters had firearms, in addition to other weapons like knives and bats. Others used flagpoles as weapons and pepper and bear spray.

The former president didn't address the voter's question about what he was doing on Jan. 6 while the rioters began their march on the Capitol and breached the building.

The one constant on this site over the years and it can’t be argued…..there is a certain type of person on here that is constantly defending themselves that they are NOT racist. And every single one of them have been Trump supporters. Why is that?

I’ve never been accused of being racist in my life. Why is that?

I wonder who David Duke is voting for?

Valentines day is the day of love, albeit a ridiculous consumer holiday if we're being honest. January 6th is more like the Munich Putsch and it seems like Trump is leaning into that similarity, among others.
