Imagine if you took all the retired architects of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and had the military industrial complex pay them form an organization to smear any anti war politicians or journalists while pretending to be good faith members of a political party who’s voting base they abandoned long ago and who’s children they sent to die overseas 20 years ago based on information they knew to be untrue.

That’s The Lincoln Project. They are infinitely worse than Donald Trump by every measurable metric. Garbage if you will.

Maybe the neocons who have homes in Jackson built with blood money, but not much beyond that. I would challenge you to find a Republican in the state who’s a Cheney supporter. You could ask around all day and i bet you won’t crack double digits. I’m not sure where you are getting your information from, but it is not accurate.

The photos have gone viral on social media and the response is overwhelmingly negative, with many calling the float racist and offensive.

In a statement on Facebook on Thursday night, the fire department apologized "for allowing the offensive participants" to be in the parade.

"We do not share in the values represented by those participants, and we understand how it may have hurt or offended members of our community," the post said.

The Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department said it has "traditionally only provided safety & traffic control" during the parade but didn't elaborate on how the float made it into the parade or who was involved with it.

"We will be reviewing our planning processes to prevent a situation like this from happening again. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to make our events more welcoming for everyone," the post closed with.

Daylon A. Davis, the president of the NAACP Pittsburgh Branch, put out a statement in response to the float that said, in part:

"This appalling portrayal goes beyond the realm of Halloween satire or free expression; it is a harmful symbol that evokes a painful history of violence, oppression, and racism that Black and Brown communities have long endured here in America.

"We urge the event organizers and local leaders to implement clearer guidelines to prevent this type of hateful and hurtful display from occurring in the future. We also ask that they offer an apology and make a public commitment to anti-racist values that affirm the dignity and equality of all people."

Mayor Diane Bailey said the borough will have more to say in a statement on Friday.

Not garbage at all.

Dark Brandon appeared momentarily there and called them by their true nature. The cockroaches I have to deal with in my travels to Southeast Asia are annoying but otherwise harmless. The cockroaches here in America are truly of a pestilent kind.

Most those guys I don’t find very funny. Brendan Schaub is a travesty. Tony Hinchcliffe is hilarious though, Kill Tony is a great show.

The NIH co-owns patents on pharmacueticals that they help develop. Almost half of the FDA's budget comes from the drug companies whose products they are approving.

There use a huge web of bad incentives in the public regulatory agencies. Fauci profits off the drugs he promotes, then they turn around and try and prevent anyone from disagreeng with their edicts.

An agency and it's employees personally profit off the very treatments they propose to the public, and you don't see the conflict of interest? What Fauci "recommends" turns into policy and mandates. Why did he recommend Remdesivir for example? He cited a study in which it was used to treat Ebola, but failed to mention that more people DIED in the Remdesivir treatment group than the placebo group. You can't make this shit up.

And we're told to blindy "trust the science" as though Fauci's proclaimations are "the science".

Now the whole public health industry is hyper focused on drugs and vaccines, and has approved a lot of toxic pesiticides and food additives that are illegal in europe. Gee wiz, do you think the conflict $ interest could be at play here?
