You know that feeling when you’re watching the Western Conference finals and the team you’re rooting for is down 9 and calls a timeout and they substitute the point guard out for his backup and suddenly the opposition has no idea what to do with him and you go on a 15-2 run to hold a 4 point lead?

That’s how I feel today.

Political mudslinging is indeed a valid reason.

It's a bit overwrought. He didn't abandon his troops on the battlefield. He retired, as was his option. After 24 years, which is 24 more years than Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, and I all served, and 20 more years than JD Vance served.

I just wanted to provide an opinion from other service members that served in the role of CSM, since me father was one as well. Walz has introduced himself as a retired CSM, when apparently he shouldn't.. He made a choice to retire, sure, as riverman always says, choices. He has to answer to that choice he made.

He may have not done it ON the battlefield, but they were notified that they would be mobilized.

You guys are coming at me like I'm saying "Vote Trump", but I do not mean to portray that. Harris and Walz are always going to be better than that fool no matter the skeletons in their closet, which do seem minor.

I may not have served, but I do have a bit of unique perspective here. Feel free to disagree.

For whom do these two speak? Were they selected as spokespersons?
Charges were raised and debunked before Congressional and Governor's race but now are back from the dead with national profile because Trump has nothing to run on.

Ultraconservative Wall Street Journal editorial board made it clear they oppose Harris/Walz ticket but said this is bunk.
Not sure what charges you speak of, or how harland crow came up. Then again, hard to tell if you were responding to me since you didn't quote me. That makes having a productive conversation with you difficult.

For all this bluster, it is still just a job. He went back in at 37 years old and then at 41 decided he didn’t want to continue working that job. I’ve done similar.

41 is a bit old for soldiering.
Not responding to anyone particular,@Shaboid. Responding to swift boating of Walz by a campaign with nothing to offer.

I hate to post this. But some of you need to watch this video. An interview with a high ranking enlisted man that served many years with Walz.

Conservatives are so funny: they change the rules of decorum so they can get away with doing something shitty, then when the liberals go “oh the rules have changed! We’re going to do what you do now!” they all act like someone murdered their mom.

They don't change the rules. They just pretend like they don't exist.

Congrats. Now you’ve discovered where trumps campaign funds end up. Accusing someone falsely of desertion or traitorous conduct is serious grounds for slander litigation. Waltz was honorably discharged. this guy seemed to be vague and fishing. Retirement is a choice and short timers usually don’t go to war zones either Walz did not choose advancement in rank for two years as was his right. This guy talks about his military education. fuckthey got 24 Years out of him. I got a navy education and served 3.5 years

Trump torpedos his own campaign in an hour-long mindless rant from Mar-a-Lago, where he bragged about the crowd size at his insurrection.

"But, guys, Walz might have exaggerated his 24-year military record slightly. You really need to see it. I know opponents tried to use this against him in prior elections and it was a nothingburger and he served 24 years and was overseas and then became governor and got kids meals in schools and affirmed LGBTQ rights and got better medical and family leave and stuck the "weird" label to Trump and Vance and even some of his opponents are on the record that the National Guard criticism is making a mountain out of a molehill but you really need to see it. You really need to see it. And pay no attention to the man behind the mirror."

OK, Jan.

The only person, in either party, that is a resonable answer to your question, is Amy Klobuchar.

I do not agree with all of her views. But, Amy is the only one that has the qualities needed to bring us all back together. Everyone else is
dividing us.

So, all of us must compromise, and give up the cult agendas and actions, in both partys.
Klobuchar is basically Walz without the coaching skills

You hate to post this? Who is holding a fucking gun to your head? You CHOSE to post the most serious possible charge, treason. Based on an unsubstantiated hit piece.
A person serves 24 years, honorably discharged, runs for Congress, promotes veterans benefits and you call him a fucking traitor?
How much time are you spending searching for hit pieces? As opposed to facts?
Who is being served with this shit? Is it bringing down the price of eggs? Easing suffering in Gaza? Helping Ukraine defend their independence? Advancing civil rights? Protecting democracy?
No, you are doing the opposite in service of unqualified corrupt senile sociopath who is running to stay out of jail for actual crimes oh and also bring about a Christian fascist dictatorship.
Well, that's your Constitutional right. To spread lies in hopes of destroying a good man and helping an evil one. But don't fucking pretend you hate to do it.

You have pulled down heaven and raised up a whore.

Guy accepts the VP position and has a history in the military, as a football coach and a school teacher.

Republicans: Quick let’s try and discredit his military career. Let’s dig deep.

nothing really there

Next..

Republicans: Quick let’s try and find the angry mom of a football player who didn’t get playing time.

Ah hah! Told you he was a radical liberal

I wasn't intending to attack the messenger.

Well, not you, anyway. The two guys who wrote that letter, yes.

Still trying to claim Minnesota isn't really Midwest, Laura Ingraham complained "it's really changed, especially Milwaukee".
Milwaukee is in Wisconsin.

Milwaukee is in Wisconsin.

Maybe Trump is planning to move Milwaukee to Minnesota.

About a year ago Trump told people at a rally in Pennsylvania that if Biden was re-elected they were going to change the name of the state.
