Unvetted wide open border with record illegal immigration.
Thanks for spelling out your concerns. I appreciate it.
I've edited my earlier comment below to give a quick reply to my thoughts on your comments.
Dont tell me Trump killed the bill, that bill was bullshit and kept the border open and the added resources just processed more people in legally.
If we could get enough people processed legally we'd be far more able to monitor the illegal crossings. You have to start somewhere. And the most logical place to start is getting people who could cross legally wanting to cross legally.
This makes the enforcement portion much easier. You're right, if that is the intent, I wish that they would actually explain it that way.
However, again I don't think either side actually wants to resolve this issue. And this is why we don't get better descriptions of proposed policies. Both sides get far too much financial backing to allow it.
Or, maybe, as a wise man once said, it is just incompetence...
Men playing against woman in sports, even if it is rare, it is fundamentally wrong for an even playing field. And even if it was even on the field, the fact that there are men with dicks in the locker rooms at collages is not right.
I agree. Natural Born Men should not be competing against women unless it is a unisex event. All events should have an option for naturally born females if there are enough interested to field a competition.
I don't particularly care about the locker room issue. I think there should be private restrooms and private showers. This seems like a non-issue to me.
I feel like trying to force naturally born females to compete against people who aren't naturally born females is the biggest problem here, and I agree I think it turned off a lot of people. I think it costed Democrats a lot of votes.
I am not anti electric cars, but mandating for all electric cars in the new future will not work for everyone.
I think that electric cars can work in nearly any non-industrial application now, and all applications in the future. Even if some of those electric cars were to be fitted with a generator for extended use.
Making laws requiring the manufacturer of low emission vehicles I think is not a problem at all. There will always be used vehicles that can be purchased during the transition.
I think this is a wedge issue that the right has clung to for the simple purpose of riling people up.
Mandating the vaccine pissed a lot of people off.
The vaccine wasn't mandated. They're simply wasn't a restriction on allowing employers to mandate vaccines.
This is also a nothing burger in my opinion. I don't think that we should make decisions like that based on political reasoning.
If employers or businesses require recommended and safe vaccinations, that is up to the business. You should not be allowed to force yourself into a situation where you are at increased risk of infecting another person. Any more than naturally born females should be forced to compete against people who aren't naturally born females.
I don't care if it pisses people off. But you're right, I believe that the Republicans took advantage of this. And I see them as evil for doing so.
Calling everything racist just grinded on people. When epople started saying climate change was due to racism....
I'm not sure about the people claiming climate change is due to racism, but climate change is definitely real. It is definitely man caused. This is not opinion. This is scientific fact. Our actions are exacerbating climate change.
I'm not going to ask for a link, because you have already indicated that you aren't interested in going there. However, the claim that climate change is due to racism honestly just sounds like a Republican talking point to me. Another evil one.
None of these items (minus the border) are not individually huge, but when they are all combined, that obviously left enough people feeling that the direction the US was heading was not correct.
This lead to a landslide victory for all of us uneducated Trump followers.
Again, I wish Democrats would explain these things better. I'm not a registered Democrat and I wouldn't want to be in a position of defending them. The reality is I don't think they want these issues resolved any more than I think Republicans actually want them solved.
I do think Republican policies are far more harmful than Democrat.
