Rose sent his boy Eddie Curry to silence him?

This will be a movie on BET in 5 years!

Good god, anyone else watching UTA vs. PHO? 100 FTs and 40 TOVs. Fucking unwatchable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the first time TNT has ever had preseason games? Or just the first for the Blazers to be involved?

We've been on multiple times. And TNT has been doing preseason games for years. In fact they used to have a cool game every year in Indian Wells on their Tennis court site outdoors in the desert.

So Toronto has a player on their roster Drew Crawford. He's referee Danny Crawford's kid! Not that it matters, because I'm sure he'll be cut in a few days, but isn't there a conflict of interest there for his pops. What a hassle for the league that the dad wouldn't be able to ref any Raptors game right?

I actually thought Haywood Workman shouldn't have been reffing his ex teammates/coaches these past few seasons.

Weird I feel like I would remember that. Guess that speaks to the significance of these games.

Looks like The Brow will be out 14 days with a sprained knee.

Meh. Hilarious. There's no hassle at all. They simply won't put Crawford on any of his kid's games. They might even tailor his schedule so he could watch a few of his kid's games if he makes the team. As far as Workman refereeing former teammates, if someone wants to trade their integrity for well, nothing... more power to them. They're under more scrutiny by the league for refereeing former teammates anyway. Everything is on video.

Joey Crawford no longer works NBA games ...he retired but works an analyst booth for reviews I think

I'm just saying I know for a fact there has never been a ref who hasn't worked a certain teams games for an entire season.

I'm hoping that N'Orleans will give up on him sooner rather than later. Maybe he can be the next Pau Gasol (although not going to the Lakers, I hope).

He would be the kind of 2-way player we need and fits in with our window. This would be a consolidation trade I could get behind, much more than Blake or Cousins. I'd offer them anyone on our roster besides Dame and C.J. and has many draft picks as it would take.

He's never been in a good situation with a strong leader in NOP. Combine his talent with Dame and C.J. and we'd have our Big 3. And, he's still only 23.

We would have to make the trade packaged to New Orleans CJ centered, there's no way they make a deal with ANYONE without getting an elite player at their position back.

Then they would laugh at you and take a better offer elsewhere.

They already lost Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson. If they lose Davis, they would be in complete rebuild mode. We own all our own 1st round picks and the one we got from CLE.

We have a very young, very deep roster. If Vonleh continues to show signs, we could package him and Harkless, our two youngest players, and a bunch of picks.

Not really sure what anyone else has to offer, but I thought part of the reason for retaining all our guys was to amass assets for a future consolidation trade. We are one of the youngest and supposedly (at least that's what I keep hearing) one of the deepest teams in the league. We should be able to put together a package that would help NOP kick start their inevitable rebuild.

I haven't checked, but does NOP have any big contracts they'd like to shed? We could help them out there and then cut that player and use the stretch provision to spread out the cap/tax hit over the next five years, like we did last year with Varejao.
