Yup, @crandc and I, we're taking over... you won't really know what happened but soon we'll be having lively discussions on the forum about putting the toilet seat down and how to locate the right Tupperware lid without asking your spouse, etc. The best part is you're going to think you're the one who came up with the thread ideas. :smiley-alexis:
I'm offended by your stereotyping chauvinistic insinuation's about men. Strike 1.

If that's OK with you, m'lady.

Stop leaving out years.

In the last 5 years he's played in a hair over 70%.

And again in those 5 years there was a season where he only played 35 games.

It's would be a waste of assets, salary, and picks for an injury prone "star". One who plays no defense and never has...

There are too many reasons to say no and folks are getting desperate.
THE PAST 4 YEARS smh. You're trying to add the a year from 5 years ago onto that to try to make your point. FFS. Im not ignoring years, you're trying to use a data point thats so old it's irrelevant. I could use the last 3 years, 2 years, 4 years... it doesn't matter, dudes a different player and if you paid enough attention or were able to see through your hatred you could see that. Sadly, your confirmation bias knows no bounds as Griffin has been healthy ALL year and has an unluckily timed MINOR injury. If theres an 70-80% chance he'll play in the postseason, I'll take it.

Your argument is the only thing desperate here. Thanks for confirming your biased hatred by saying he plays "no defense".

That 31 point meltdown might have been the best thing that could have happened to the Golden State Warriors.
It woke them up big time.
Wondering if they will lose another game in the playoffs?

Do you know where the red lid is to the medium container? I have been looking for it.

Sir they have been wearing them all season. Representing and acknowledging Brooklyn's very own Biggie Smalls.

Huh. I had no idea. I guess this makes them slightly cooler, but without that association they're ass. Love B.I.G. though!

Ok, you keep including Chief (and other people :offtopic:) into this argument (FOCUS... We're talking about Blake...), Chief is always healthy and exceeding his regular season play during the playoffs... Facts.

He's never missed a playoff game for us and he always shows up...

Now... Focus... :smiley-cool:

Blake in his last 5 seasons averaged 59 games per...

296 of a possible 410 games.

One season he played 35 games...

35...

Now it's really simple...

Answer the question without pushing your narrative.

He's been hurt 5 years straight yes or no?

And really quick tho...

Where was Blake when his Clippers lost in the playoffs to the Blazers?
You forgot the most obvious difference when comparing Blake/Aminu: $35M vs $7M.

That toilet seat thingie was drummed into me before our first anniversary, but the Tupperware? C'mon, you know we males do not possess the right genes to ever decipher the mysteries of a woman's "organization" of a refrigerator. It would be like expecting Sly to learn how to do calculus right after he leaves a pile on your yard.

And you're trying to IGNORE that year in order to make YOUR point. Cuts both ways.
You're not gonna change dviss's mind, so just stop. He has legit reasons for NOT wanting him. You have legit reasons FOR wanting him. /end

For the billionth time... we did not reorganize. It was in a totally logical place however, when you last used it you failed to put it back so others on the forum would be able to find it when they need it. If you didn't leave your crap all over this place wouldn't be such a pit!

You're Trippin. Go back through the thread and see that I've been talking about the past 5 seasons. Besides why would we leave out another season where he was hurt? My point has always been that he's been hurt 5 years straight.

Now, where was Blake when his team needed him in our playoff series?

Same place he's been the past 5 seasons...

Holy crap! You're my wife! I didn't realize you had an account here.

BTW, I was just kidding about all of that Mrs. HCP stuff.

I've tried to explain this to you a million times but your blind hatred makes it impossible.

You can stop with that bullshit. And frankly I'm tired of you insulting my intelligence.

I haven't said one thing about how I don't like him as a talking point in this debate.

I've ONLY talked about injury history.

So I'm done debating with you on this now.

Orrrr, you just don't make a compelling argument?

It's kinda pompous to not bring a compelling argument and blame the the other side's "hate" as the only reason they disagree with you...

ESPECIALLY Durant because that man was cooking early. They'll definitely lose another game as I anticipate the series with the Rockets will go AT LEAST 6 games.

BG is interesting in a lot of ways to me. Skillset, Athleticism, ability, talent he's an almost perfect fit for the Blazers. I definitely think their is a long injury history there and a decent argument that what it would require to get him may gut the team if he continues to have those injuries. He has missed parts of many post-seasons because of injuries which does lend to the idea that maybe he can't take the beating of a long NBA season.

I acknowledge your point about the injuries, but I think I find myself on the other side, I think I'd be willing to take the risk for him. He's a really special player (in my opinion) when he's healthy.

I posted this earlier in the thread but @BonesJones probably just ignored it:

His skillset is s fit. His injury prone tendencies are not.

Winning a title is extremely difficult and requires taking gambles that pay off. You can't have gambles pay off without taking some gambles, so I'd be interested in Blake Griffin for Portland. Big risk, but a lot of potential reward.

I would take the HUGE risk if they just wanted to dump his salary at the trade deadline. ( ET, Meyers, and Hark )
3 more seasons at 35 million is a lot for an often injured player.

I take a hard pass on Blake Griffin. His game fits, and he could theoretically help us a shit ton. With the cost of trading for him, his injuries are a red flag. If we are going to spend that much capital on a player, we need a relative assurance of health.

It's no secret I can't stand Blake Griffin as a human.

This is why @BonesJones keeps pushing the narrative that I'm a Blake hater.

However, if it weren't for injury history, I'd take him in a heartbeat. Salary and all.

It's being injured 5 seasons in a row...

It's being injured against us and LOSING in the playoffs because of it...

This is what I've been saying this entire debate...

I love Nurk so dont get take this wrong, but is he trending towards being injury prone too?

I have kind of wondered about it. 2 of 3 post seasons here he’s been hurt.

This is where I'm at, too. But I wouldn't even include Harkless. ET, Meyers, Gary and our pick. For me it's that SALARY coupled with his injuries/age that make me balk.

Yeah, even if we COULD get him for a package of peanuts I'd still pause - those dollars could be spent much more wisely.
