Well of course they did. Josh Smith is a cancer with 2/7 shooting, 4 turn overs and an implosion when the game mattered the most.

They should have just stuck with Brewer

Who was the cancer on SA when they lost a few i a row?

lmao... they are tearing into each other.

Best part? "It was the defending champions on their court. Hard to win"

Lillard and the Blazers would like a moment of your time...

I like this gem

Josh Smith was absolutely terrible as a starter. Please bring him off the bench.

This was Beverley's worst overall game in a while. Heck, the turnovers almost made the game unwatchable.

Smith came to Houston because he was promised a starting position. Imagine if McHale brought him off the bench? Implosion?!?!

Beverley is ready to implode: "Houston guard Patrick Beverley was issued a technical and had to be restrained after going face-to-face with official Scott Twardowski over a non-call with 9:41 left in the third. Beverley charged at the official after lying on the floor and holding his side in pain for about five seconds after being hit on a screen. Minutes later, Beverley was arguing with someone on the Spurs' bench prior to an inbounds. Beverley also had to be restrained after approaching the officials after the game."

Their board has such a victims mentality.

LMA averages 40 in the first two games - the refs are screwing them.

Dame dominates their guards - Bev was playing with a few broken ribs and the flu.

Without the flopping Harden wouldn't aversge 20. A poor-man's Brandon Roy.

They wouldn't annoy me so much if they went so hilariously blind about the flopping and the refs. They seriously cry about the refs after every loss, meanwhile Harden is averaging like 10 FTA per game.

I think that's it as well for me. Even their analysts cry foul all game.

They're arrogant but a lot of teams are arrogant. The attitude that everyone wants to play there is silly but they're not the only fanbase that's like that. It's the ironic complaining about the refs that just annoys me.

Their announcers are more annoying than their fans. The fans I can excuse to a point, they are "fanatics" and therefore not rational. But there is no excuse for the morons with the microphones who refuse to acknowledge the reality in front of their faces then whip up their delusional fan base into misguided outrage.

Growing up such a huge Blazers and Drexler fan it disappoints me so much to hear Drexler on the Houston broadcast act the way he acts. And even worse how HORRIBLE he is at it. Makes me look at my childhood different and I hate that.

You can set your watch to MM coming into every thread to white knight the Rockettes.

Weird

Houston has to make a decision. They either play around Howard or Harden. Those two cannot play together.

CBS has us #2, Dubs #3 and Raptors #1

CLEARLY this is the only one that matters :)

1. Portland Trail Blazers (23-7) | Previous: 3
Lillard loves the extra fives. In 15 career overtime games, Lillard is shooting 68.1 percent from the field, 57.9 percent from three-point range and 95 percent from the foul line.

2. Golden State Warriors (23-5) | Previous: 2
David Lee has returned after missing all but one of the first 25 games with a hamstring injury and accepted a reserve role but that selflessness – and his all-star talent – hasn’t helped the Warriors avoid losing consecutive games to the Los Angeles teams.

The Bulls at #1... !?

I don't really care too much for "Power Rankings," in general... but that's just a head-scratcher!

Clutch fans:

smith with 1 bad shot and 2 turnovers...

i'm getting over him real fast.
