You'd give up Taj for Stevenson? Contract reasons?

4th best player at a position we're deep for a 24 year old who was a near all-star last year and who fills a position of need for us.

It would be worth it just for the entertainment value of Thibs vs. Stevenson.

He has 20/600 triple doubles which is a much lower percentage than other great players in NBA history. It speaks towards his tendency to shoot first and pass second.

They won despite the chemistry issues. It was well chronicled.

I think all teams wish they could win despite the "chemistry" issues.

By definition, those chemistry issues didn't prevent them from winning.

He reminds me of ZBo.

I remember fans not wanting Cousins because he's a head case, I was one of them but he was worth the risk.

I was one as well. But keep in mind, many still where fighting the ghost of the jailblazer era. That shit cut deep! No way management takes another chance on a head case

Did anyone watch the SAS-PHI game? Was it closer than it looked?

I hope philly beats OKC for their first win! They play @Minnesota first.

Call me crazy but I'd take a chance on Stephenson. Not for Portland because I don't know if he could wrap his head around the mentality this team has, he would put us over the top if he could though. His price would have to be low, but I think there are some potential fits for him.

Sacramento - High energy where he would thrive. Might be too many knuckleheads on one team though.
Golden State - Again high energy, and a contender. The potential for playoff success would probably help drive him.
Dallas - High energy(it's not a coincidence) offensive orientated team where he could be a great spark plug.
OKC - I think it would actually be pretty good pairing him with Ibaka.

I'm not looking forward to playing Utah... They seem to be roping a lot of teams into these close late game situations. We have a tendency to fall victim to that, and I don't like the odds of winning those types of games.

Who gives a shit. Arguably one of the best and most dominating players in the HISTORY of the league. Move along, critiques like this are funny to me. You score 30,000 god damn points in the NBA, and win as many titles as he has......who gives a shit if he passes or not.

And he knows how to rape too!

Hate him OFF the court all you want......But carrying that hate to his ON the court play is flat out ridiculous! People that crack on what he has accomplished takes away what little credibility their opinion on hoops had.

I'm just saying don't make a big deal about him hitting 6k assists. I know how great he is, but are you really going to talk about his legacy in how many assists he had? Get out with that.

I hear you, but ANYTIME somebody does something that NOBODY else has EVER done, good or bad, I wanna' hear about it. I love MJ, Magic, Bird, Isiah, 'Nique.......NONE of them accomplished this. Not The Big 'O', Jerry West, anybody!

Just hate seeing players get hate on when it's not really deserved.

Are you a fan of OJ Simpson too?

Who cares? Try his the revolving door of coaches and teammates. He definitely doesn't care. Lot of great players gave up chances at a ring to get away from the guy. One thing for sure, Kobe is an amazing competitor but a lousy teammate

Cleveland put in an All-Star bid in the same window as Portland. Does this hurt our chances of getting it? I'd think the NBA would stand to make much more money putting it in Lebrons back yard. Fortunately I believe that it is a 2 year window.

Here's a Chris Haynes article if any of you missed his writing. Do you think cleveland.com would complain to the Team if I posted an excerpt?

Ask Steve Kerr how lousy a teammate Jordan was! MJ punched him in the damn face during practice.

Arguably not even top 5 player the Lakers ever had. Kareem, Magic, Wilt, West, and Shaq. Elgin Baylor, too.

Before my time and I don't follow the NFL like the NBA. Respect what he did on the field though.

I will say this. Kobe is a damn fine player and 5 time champion. I would lie to you if I would tell you I wouldn't want to have championships if it meant Kobe would be on this team.

I still think he's a fucking douche, and he's not even close to Jordan in greatness. Kobe has a career PER of 23.5. Still great, but nowhere near Jordan or LBJ per averages of 29
