If you watched last night's game, they sagged heavily off Rondo. It was so effective taking the ball away from Dirk.
Are you saying the best way to defend Dirk is to make Rondo his Point Guard?

Houston has strengthened its position as the frontrunner to sign Josh Smith, according to Yahoo! Sports. I heard Memphis is another strong team..If Houston gets this done, that could very well be two teams a lock for a top 4 position for HCA in the west playoffs barring no major injury's. I hope Neil has a plan up his sleeve!

If HOU gets Josh Smith they become slightly worse not better BGD. Step up your game son!

I think part of Neil's plan is to not give the team cancer.

I think smith will work in Houston. They get him for nothing.

Remember we got Rod Strickland for nothing mid-season?

That wasn't Rod that destroyed the team. That was jealousy and resentment that was building over some of the preferential/special treatment some players were receiving. Rod's addition was the last straw and caused an explosion, but my understanding it wasn't Rod's attitude.

That being said, a Smith addition could be detrimental to Houston, simply because Smith can be a selfish player and can play out of control for long stretches.

Wow Lakers up 17 points over Warriors at halftime. Those fucks probably will end up losing anyway, but I hope I'm wrong.

Dallas and LAC lost. Another good night for us.

That was a steal. Man, Rod Strickland had a beautiful game. Too bad for his battles with booze because he had it all going on. Heard he was coaching in Russia

Kobe is sitting this game out..go figure

Hilarious. Kobe sits and the Lakers become the 4th team to beat the Warriors. Lakers would've lost if Kobe played. It is known. They should waive him.

I have a trade idea:
Batum to Denver for Chandler and Hickson. All players involved have one year left, but Chandler would be an upgrade over Batum.

Hickson may suck as a starting center, but based on the way he played in Portland, I think he'd be a pretty darn good backup PF. If he can't beat out t-rob or freeland for minutes...whatever, he only has one year left.

Mid season? I could have sworn we got him July 4th weekend. I remember playing golf that day and being jacked up about signing him.

Yeah, the mid season acquisition was in 2001 as the Jailblazers imploded.

Remember the ESPN article about March Implosion? It was right after the Lakers and Blazers had identical records and win streaks, then they blew us out. We went on a free fall immediately after.

Yep... I was on the ESPN boards back then... What a dark time.

Fuck that noise!!! Put that shit behind us because we got a team to be proud of now!!!!

I like to remember it to keep perspective. We are so lucky to have this team, period, let alone this lineup. This current roster is probably my favorite of all time (the 1989-92 team being second)

Wow I totally blocked it out. I forgot we picked him up twice.

It seemed like a good idea but instantly the roster thought the front office had no confidence in them and they basically revolted.

Anyone find it ironic that Mo Williams and Troy Daniels are on the same team now?
