Cleveland's starting center tore his left Achilles tendon. How big of a blow is this for the Cavs? Huge imo. They now have to Rely on Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson? At least Varejao tried on defense, and was always one of those players that is annoying.

Bigger than big. Andy had been having a great year. Feel bad for the guy, talented player but he can never seem to stay healthy.

They said the same for Dallas and Rondo. So far Dallas is 1-3 since the Rondo trade.

Houston is deadliest when they are playing scramble ball. Smith isn't the type of player that knows how to play in this system.

Where Smith was at his best was when he was in Atlanta. That's when Atlanta had a highly efficient low pace style of basketball.

I agree with you that this move could backfire on them. They've been whoring for a stretch four for a while, but Josh Smith really is not that. He'll take plenty of jumpers but thats exactly what opposing defenses will want. He isn't going to help you space the floor for Harden and Howard much. I am assuming that he's going to be playing to get paid this summer. Playing on a good team helps, but will he continue to force shots? Will he stop shooting for the better of the team? We'll see.

They did get better defensively and they got a talented guy for nothing. We'll see how he actually fits.

I agree

I can't wait to see OKC after a failed season. National media will drop them like a bad habit if KD leaves. The fans will retreat to their cornfields never to return. Move the Thunder back to Seattle!

The Cavs dealing Zeller was a bad idea then and worse now.

They apparently have interest in Brook .....and Robin Lopez.

They may have interest in Kaman IMO.

They may be able to get brook but they aren't touching rolo or kaman.

Kaman can leave. I've not been impressed by this ugly sonofabitch. Robin is having the best seasons of his career thus far with the Blazers. He'd be crazy to leave; this organization and city loves him.

If I could get a pick (much less waiters and a pick) for Leonard, Kaman, Robinson, Claver or Freeland, I'll drive them to the airport.

Claver and Allen Crabbe to Cleveland so he can be trained by LBJ to become the next "king". Just so people can call him King Crabbe

in his first game, his legs would be snapped off at the hip. :dunno:

Houston scares me a little. Holy shit that's a lot of talent on that roster. If they can put it all together they're gonna be very tough to beat. But we have Lillard, so there's that.

And they couldn't stop LaMarcus last season. 46 points in the first playoff game, 43 in the next, and double teams after that, which left someone open to score.

We didn't play with LA this time, or Lopez. It will be different when we play them again.

Ya good points. I felt like we kinda gave them that game. I think we might see them in the WCF

They have to trade for a center now or they're screwed.

I thought Dursnt was free agent in 2016.

Kaman is our best bench scorer and possibly the best back up center in the lesgue.

Man, as my one and only American born white center endorsement, Mason Plumlee is balling.

My track record? You mean like how I predicted virtually our exact record and seeding last year? You mean that track record?

No, I mean your predictions of how players will fit together, which you bury under thousands of posts and hope no one will notice when you flip positions later. I'm sure you'll deny and demand examples.

I'm sure I've been wrong about plenty of things but the onus is on you if you're going to make some kind of vague accusation like that. Who specifically have I been wrong about?
