Amazing how with Westbrick Phoenix was in this game. But the moment Westbrick was tossed, Durant dominates

Yep, just like last season when Westbrook was injured. Durant was unstoppable. I mean shit, look at Durant's line: 37 points in 31 minutes on 12-19 FG. And Westbrook thinks he's the one that should be taking all the shots with the game on the line. LO fucking L!

If Westbrook didn't miss 36 games last season Durant would not have won the MVP.

BNM

This comment by BNM completely destroys any attempt you made. And talk about focusing on one metric?!?! You've been using only the mid range shot as your argument, nothing else. And the rebounding rate is silly. If you rebound the ball, you are a rebounder. The advanced metrics are used for role players that have limited playing time.

Absolutely wrong. The rebounding rate measures the percentage of available rebounds a player gets, it adjusts for the fact that the number of rebounds available for a player to get differs based on playing time and the teams style of play. Bench pressing 500 pounds 3 times requires a different level of fitness than benching 100 pounds 15 times, even though the total weight is the same.

And BNM made an imaginary argument and failed to back it up with any stats. The Blazers are 3-1 without LA, and probably would have lost that Houston game anyway, and Damian had great games.

The Suns got some bad karma happen to them from the playoff series they had with us... Late in OT there was a loose ball and dragic fouled what looked to be ish Smith and Durant went to the line lol

So LaMarcus is the 100 pound 15 times guy? He is 8th in the entire league in total rebounds at 310. More rebounds than Marc Gasol, Monroe, Duncan, Asik, Jefferson, Griffin and many others.

In the end, the total amount earned is what's documented. Total rebounds per game 8th in the league, Total points per game 8th in the league. Player efficiency 18th in the league.

And obviously, if the teammates say he makes them better, then Matthews and Lillard are also benefiting to Aldridge's game.

But let's not stop there. Aldridge is 4th in the entire league in defensive win shares, 15th in combined win shares.

So you saying "Aldridge hurts the team" is more like "I post like a fucking idiot that doesn't know the game"

Hey Sinobas, remember you said that Aldridge is a below average defender???? LMAO! How about a defensive rating of 96.7 to go along with this 4th best defensive win share.

Guess who else has a defensive rating of 96.7? That's right DeAndre Jordan! http://www.82games.com/1415/14LAC15.HTM

You know who has a worse defensive rating 97.4? That's right Noah!!! http://www.82games.com/1415/14CHI13.HTM

As I said, your hatred has completely blinded your logic. And the bullshit you tried to sell about his inability to help the team... Well one the court, the team is +8.7 points per 100 possessions, off the court +1.7 points per 100 possessions (A +6.9 points per 100 possession)!

And let's not forget that he scores 10.4 more points verses his opponent, the highest differential over any other Blazer on the roster. http://www.82games.com/1415/1415POR.HTM

Happy New Year

BANG! KA-POW!

Well he said "you aren't using stats". I gave him a boat load. I'm soooo tired of his shit. It's like he is as annoying as ants at the picnic.

I'm usually arguing on my phone, so it's hard to get the stats. So I had to get on the computer to break his face off.

Kevin Durant's 44 points are the most in NBA history by a player who didn't appear in his team's previous 5+ games
