Man, I love the rift in their team... :)

Wow, Robin dissing Batman. Durant needs to get the fuck out of Cow Town if he ever wants to win a title. Their cheap ass hillbilly owners and that prima donna Westbrick will always hold him back. I just hope he doesn't go to the Lakers. Then I'd have to hate him, too.

He'd go back East IMHO.

Goran Dragic looking like a good fit in MIA. 12 points (all layups- no Anthony Davis protecting the rim) on 6 - 8 shooting after one quarter. Too bad about Bosh. If healthy, a starting 5 of Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh and Whiteside is pretty good - especially in the East.

Damn the Warriors are demolishing the Raptors. Down 41 points after 3 quarters. Washington struggling against Philly, too. Ouch.

This nets team is so fucking stupid. Jack takes a shot with 19 on the shot clock up 5... then Lopez gets an offensive rebound and puts it back up instead of kicking it out for a better shot.

What in the world are they thinking?

And on top of that... Deron Williams goes on the OTHER side of the court and leaves Beverley open. Is Hollins just not that good of a coach?

Oh my god. Fucking Harden flopped MAJOR.... the fix is in. This is a fucking joke. You have to see it to believe it. Refs are fucking horrible.

Something has to be done. He's an embarrassment to the game.

God I love Andre Drummond...
9-11 FG. 21 points
3-7 FT.
15 rebounds 9 defensive 6 offensive.
4 blocks, 3 turnovers.

Guy is going to be the best Center in the league.

I don't agree with the 6th foul called on Drummond. He jumped straight up and the guy went into him. Drummond kept his arms straight up.
terrible call.

Nice game for Trob in Philly's win, 9 pts 9 rebs in 13 minutes, way to go Trob

Yet they can't close out the Knicks at home... and have to go to 2 ot... that's sad.

Not as bad as that Harden call. That was an embarrassment.

I didn't see it. :( got a gif?

yeah i wish Drummond was a Blazer or at least not in Detroit : /

Dude. He's a liability the same way Jordan is a liability for LAC. His FT shooting would kill us.

ANd no, it just happened. But, it'll probably be up.

Yes he is shooting 40% from the FT line and his TS% is down from .599% last year to .495% this year.
But he's 21 years old. I love Rolo and he fits perfectly with Aldridge. So don't get me wrong I wouldn't trade Rolo for Drummond as it's a win now mentality...
I just really like Drummond...

Drummond is also better than DJ by a lot imo.
This is the first year DJ has averaged a 20+ per.
Drummond has averaged 20+ per in every season he's been in the NBA.
Drummond is 5 years younger as well, and under a better contract.

Barton-mania?

18 Pts on 50 FG%

In the last three games he's putting up 18.3 PPG

One of the worst types of fouls they continually call in the NBA.

He is going to be good for years to come. Hasn't touched his ceiling yet. I don't think he will ever be hands down the best center in the league like Dwight was for an extended period of time but he should be in the top 5 for the majority of his career from next year on.

My dad has a theory that the ex Blazers always perform better once they leave the team. I always try to tell him that the Blazers always have talent but he always points out the Bartons of the world. (Sighs)

I'm not going to compare the players because Barton isn't even close to Durant in terms of skill.

However..
Everyone knew Durant had the ability to be special.. But he was young and needed shots/the ability to make mistakes without getting pulled... Even if it costs his team the game.
He got that his first couple of years.

Barton needed that as well... He wasn't going to get it from the Blazers because... We're in a win now mode...
With the Denver Generals... Well.. He certainly won't get pulled for making mistakes. They don't have anyone else.

So what's your overall point? Because you've lost me (not that that's hard to do).

That he's better than he showed on the Trail Blazers?

Are volume stats really better?

Would his game ever translate to playoff basketball? Or would teams invite him to uncontrollably chuck?

With more playing time, and being allowed to make mistakes... He could turn into a pretty damn good NBA player.
But he wasn't going to get that opportunity with the Blazers. Playing time doesn't come for players who make mistakes on a playoff team when you're young and playing out of control.

I'm a Barton fan, I thought he'd make a huge jump after what he showed last season. But he didn't... Not like Nards.

The guy we got for him scored 18 points on 6 FGA tonight in an important win. I'll take that any day over 22 points in a meaningless 22-point loss.

Could? Agreed.

He has all the physical attributes to be very good.

Spot on.

I hoped he would make that jump; but I gave up pretty early on in this season.

If he would just calm down, and play within the system he could be .... I'm not exactly sure what, but pretty decent.

But he doesn't know when to go, and when to slow things down.

If he could just learn when those situations are....

But we, as a team, don't have time for him to learn; and unfortunately for him, I'm not sure he ever will.
