Is it the fact that they are the best healthy team? Or that they are THE healthy team?

At this point, B, but I don't doubt that they were also the best team all season. Their record earns them that. Still, they did have a charmed season with no major injuries so the point can be debated.

Steph Curry has yet to meet a defender as good as Scottie Pippen in his prime.

I think who wins depends on which era's officiating you get. 1990's officiating with handchecking allowed? Golden State scores 85 a game and loses by 15 every night on their way to a gentleman's sweep. 2015 officiating where EVERY guard gets Jordan Rules whistles? The Bulls take it to six but lose.

Wow, living alone at 106!!!

Yeah, but how much would Jordan score with today's rules? Easily 40 ppg, probably 50+, and he might foul out GS' entire back court.

Plus, didn't "Jordan Rules" refer to the hard fouls teams took on MJ to keep him from posterizing everyone, not the leeway he got the refs in drawing fouls?

I think the Warriors will sweep... BUT:
the Cavs just won the first half in Oakland with LBJ plus Thompson (whom everybody thought was a TERRIBLE pick) plus (essentially) players other teams didn't want. It would be fun to see if James could take a D-League All-Stars team to the playoffs.

No. Other players, especially prima donna Lakers like Magic Johnson, said that Jordan got favorable treatment. Not as much as Wade later got. Stern encouraged showboats, including Jordan's great finesse highlight moves under the basket.

Meanwhile, everybody talks about the Splash Bros., but Bogut was a #1 pick in the draft and Iguodala was the best player for playoff team in Philly. Barnes was a lottery pick (for a long time predicted to be the #1 pick in his draft). Basically the Warriors had incredible luck with players they got cheap because they were always injured... getting healthy. (I'm including Livingston in this.) You know - the anti-Cavs.

Anyone else think it is really dumb that there isnt a finals logo on the court?

Hey JP. Just curious to get your thoughts. You think some of Damian's problems on D is because he is too tiny and that it's difficult for him to give it his all on both ends of the court. Why do you think Curry get's by with it? Do you think see this as something as Damian overcomes in his career? Does he have the physical ability to overcome it in your opinon?

I'm asking because I agree with you.

Jeesh, the Cavs are without 2 starters, and are still toying with the Warriors.

DAMN! That last 3 by Lebron was fucking nuts!

Great game. Forgot that AV is injured as well

jr smith is an idiot

Gutsy win by the Cavs. They could have easily mailed it in with all the injuries they have.

The older I get the more I find myself enjoying and admiring Lebron. I might be in rare company on this forum but I'm actually rooting for the Cavs.
I'm with you. I missed out on appreciating Jordan because I was too busy hating him for being great. I don't want to make that mistake with Lebron.

Agree. This is the Finals and that court logo is reserved for those 4-7 games ... just doesn't feel like the last series of the season without it on the court.

Can't believe I'm typing this, but I am rooting for the Cavs in this series too. It's mainly because I don't think the Warriors are *that* good. I look at that roster and don't see one of the all-time great teams. I also think they've gotten extremely lucky in the posteason with the teams they drew. Memphis was banged up, they missed out on the Clippers and Spurs, two of their toughest matchups, Houston was devastated with injuries, and now a Cleveland team without Kyrie, Love, and Varejao.

What has impressed me most in these 1st two overtime games is the defense..the offense has been ugly for long stretches but for the Warriors to get to overtime with Curry shooting horribly is impressive. Delladova did a great job on defense. I've gotta say though, Lebron travels with the ball all the time. He willed this team to a win, credit the man. Scott Foster is the worst ref ever!
Mosgov is a great center and I've really not seen him play much before.
