Moving this to around the NBA. Discussion regarding this can all be done there, no need for an ancillary thread.
Damnit. I just read this in it's own thread and now I have to read it here? Ruined my whole day...

He’s great. I think the biggest reason they’re winning though is having both Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley in the frontcourt. We’d be awesome too if we had those two.

and possibly the best backcourt.

It was a 13 game win streak but we missed the playoffs. In 2018, we had another 13 game win streak but got swept in first round. Also- we were like 32-50 the year before that streak so have hope. We’ll be back in business soon.

The Thunder play the best defense I’ve seen a team play in a long time. Just smothering for 48 minutes.

It’s really annoying watching Amen Thompson go off every night now. wish we had him.

Um, the last game he played in before tonight he scored 5 points.

Amazing how the Cavs art rolling with a starting backcourt of 6'1" & 6'3". I realize they have length up front but they have two small gunners in the back court.

neither of their starting guards are CP3 on defense, but neither are a complete sieve on defense like Ant. Besides that, the Cavs have been on a historic hot streak from three this season; their 3ptFG percentages:

Isaac Okoro .492
Craig Porter Jr. .455
Caris LeVert .447
Darius Garland .431
Evan Mobley .418
Ty Jerome .416
Donovan Mitchell .413
Georges Niang .387

those 8 players combine to average 33.7 Three ptFGA/game. They lead the NBA in 3ptFG% at .404. They are also 1st (by substantial margins) in TS% and eFG%. They are 1st in offensive rating and 7th in defensive rating

however, one small dark cloud on the horizon: to this point they have had the easiest schedule in the NBA. The rest of the season their SOS ranks as the 5th most difficult

I like how Beal said he'd waive the NT restriction for the Lakers, Heat and Nuggets...as if the Lakers, Heat or Nuggets want to trade for him and his 100+ million left on his contract (he sure as hell isn't opting out in 2026).

I thought Jimmy said he’d play anywhere as long as it wasn’t in Miami?

MEM isn't flashy enough for Jimmy. Does the guy actually think, at 82 y/o, he is anything other than a 3-4 option on a really good team?

If we want NOLA to start winning, let’s hope this kid can stay healthy.

Is POR picking up Banton's deal?

I think the Bucks would have to give up their 2031 FRP, we would have to have a destination for Middleton and Phoenix gets too much without giving up draft compensation.

So I guess I could go for us being the lynchpin of this deal as long as we get the Bucks 2031 FRP, the three SRPs that Phoenix has and know where we're flipping Middleton too for maybe even more draft compensation or a prospect along with a bad contract.
