NBA is such a copy cat league. One team does a wild decision and now everybody is just one upping one another.. corny as fuck

Not understanding the timing of these firings.

This is abnormal. Normally, you let the season expire. They lost 4 straight with murray out while Joker putting videogame performances. Their team is trash. Malone did a lot with Jokic and a bunch of nobodies. He is no question an upgrade over Chauncey

madness for sure. DEN problems are due to cheap ownership! Hire Malone.

For the 2nd half of the season (so far ) the Blazers were on pace to win 48 games and have like a top 6 defensive rating in the same time span.

That'd be on pace for like 3rd in the conference record wise. And ahead of Memphis and Denver.

And that's with young roster, dealing with injuries, having Simons, Grant and Ayton on the roster (tho thankfully missing games).

And we all agree the team doesn't have a "superstar" on the roster and need one.

Maybe Chauncey isn't the "conductor" and actually has coached the team decently?

of course, the first 41 games count as much as the last 41 games

by the way, 18 of the 22 wins Portland has in the 2nd half of the season have come against teams with losing records

He’s definitely the Conductor, but that term has nothing to do with coaching.

Curious how much Golden State and the Lakers have to play for this weekend against us?

Golden State wants to pass Denver and host the 4/5, or maybe even push for the 3. Lakers want to hold onto the 3 and keep GSW and OKC on the same side of the bracket.

So likely, both teams will want those wins pretty badly.

Gracias. Will be fun to see the stars out against us!

Last 41 games mean more because they obviously improved and are trending in the right direction. And beating bad teams means you aren’t one

Luka gets tossed (2nd technical) for directing some words towards at an official after making a basket. His basket put the Lakers ahead 108-107 with 7:42 left in the game against the Thunder.

I wish the NBA would toss this rule itself. Players should only be tossed for a Flagrant 2 foul or two flagrant 1 fouls.

Which players gets teed-up for mouthing off at the referees is too inconsistent.

Disagree.

Luka gets away with mouthing off a lot. He already has much more leeway than 95% of the rest of the league.

I wish the league was better about being consistent regardless of who is involved in the play

Well there's still 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and I already feel comfortable saying that the Suns will be tied with us at the end of this shitty game I'm about to turn off.

According to someone's calculations, the Timberwolves had a 99.9% chance of beating the Bucks with 10:09 left in the game, the Bucks having 1/10 of 1 percent chance of winning. Not even a 1% chance, 1/10 of a 1% chance. Isn't that like a miracle-level comeback? 1/10 of 1 percent.
