Supposedly Nate Robinson wants to try out for the NFL. That would be extremely stupid. He's 31, he already has the money, and the risk for injury would be much higher at this point. Very, very stupid.

Injury Updates:

Jahil Okafor- may be shut down for the season with a "sore right knee"
OJ Mayo- Tripped down the stairs and broke his ankle. Done for the year.
Mario Chalmers- Tore his Achilles tendon. Waived by the Grizzlies.

Kobe just took Lebron on a backdown and fadeaway.

Quite frankly I can't believe they have the record they do now. If anything that's a success as it is and the testament of Carlise coaching skills. He's one of the best in the game.

Nah, they have the record that they have because it's a bunch of veterans and they've maxed their potential.

totally called the Chalmers injury! I KNEW it looked all too familiar.

now Chalmers is injured, does this help our chances at the 5 spot?

am I the only one that thinks this looks eerily similar to when wes went down? that's not an ankle turn, and he grabs for that same spot wes did....

Six weeks takes them through the end of the season. Glad we didn't trade CJ for him.

I'm glad we didn't trade for him because he sucks defensively, can't shoot outside, and no interior post players lead a team to wins in the modern NBA.

But yeah also glad we don't have an injured headcase who assaults hecklers at bars.

1) An inside-outside combo with Lillard would be a different matter, however. Good on the court, and...

2) Good off the court. He would have been a perfect drinking partner / bodyguard for Lillard!

A high usage inside post presence would hurt Lillard's game. He would have to stop attacking, setup the offense and get players into positions. He wouldn't have as many opportunities on pick and roll plays. Hasn't that been proven with the removal of LaMarcus?

Did you really just use "LaMarcus" and "inside post presence" together?

Good point. We don't know how Lillard would play with a PF/C that can score in the post because he's never had someone like that on his team. Wes Matthews was the best post-player he's played with.

Would Dame and Anthony Davis be an unstoppable duo? How could you guard that pick and roll?

Rubio just beat the Thunder at the buzzer with a 3!

Yes? He's 11th in the NBA for post touches within 12 feet.

No he wasn't Shaq or Hakeem; but we did work the ball into him in the post.

Almost all the current post players on those lists play for teams in the lottery. Heavy usage post players hamper a team's offense in the modern NBA.

LMA played in the very high post most of the time. What was his ranking for touches within 12' for us? The Spurs don't have him shooting nearly as many 3's.

LA was great in the low post for us.... when he wanted to be.
