That ref should be fired. His call appears to be that Jrue moved under El Floppo, while El Floppo WAS ON TOP OF HIM. SMH. Apparently everything was fine as long as Jrue was moving forward while Floppo was riding him like a pony, but as soon as Jrue backed up a couple of steps, that's a foul on the pony. SMH
I think the ref was calling the fact you can't completely impede a players way but Harden literaly JUMPS on top of Jrue and rides him like one of the strippers Harden is so fond of.

What really makes this next level bad is that the NBA has announced that jumping on someone's back is a technical foul, but Harden got rewarded for it.

It's a shame there isn't a Charles Oakley in the NBA anymore, and that Harden didn't try that on him.

This has to be one of the worst foul calls i'v ever seen.

Wait they called it on Jrue Holiday? No freaking way???? They just announced a new rule that jumping on a players back is an automatic technical...

What confuses me is how it unfolds. It doesn't appear the foul is called for impeding Harden's path. Harden tried to go across the lane, Jrue tried to get position in front of him. Harden jumped on his back. The ref is standing there watching. Everything is apparently fine in ref world so far. The ref is watching Harden riding on Jrue's back, and makes no move whatsoever, until Jrue staggers backward a couple of steps, with Harden already riding on top of his back. Then the ref calls the foul and indicates Jrue's foul is for backing into or under Harden. It's like Bizarro World.

Someone needs to put together a YouTube of harden bs fouls. The defensive Vid were great; could do similar with those. I bet there over 100 blatant ones this year.

Did they specify who it would be called on automatically? ;)

But that technical is overridden by finding yourself underneath Harden's front.

Im surprised it wasn't a flagrant foul on Holiday there.

Can we get this JV game over with? Damn this east coast time difference and 10:30 start time!

Westbrook should go right at Curry every time. Steph cant guard him

That was an unexpected gift from Sacramento. Now we gotta take care of the Raptors

"He afraid! He afraid!" *brick brick brick*

Westbrook is such a poor overall PG. I have no idea how people consider him a top5 NBA player.

Top5 physical specimen? Absolutely. Deadly on the fast break? You bet. Setup a teams offense and half court shot selection? He's one of the worst in the NBA.

Glad to see Golden State win at home. They play Orlando and Utah at home; then a special team from up in the Northwest.

Just like the '86 Celtics we have a chance to give them their only home loss.

OKC has soo much trouble from lack of a two way wing to close games. Roberson sucks offensively. Foye and Singler suck defensively. Waiters is horrible at everything.

They really need an Aminu, Hendo or Crabbe. It's been a problem since Harden left. I can't fathom how they've never found a mediocre 3+D guy.

Although I'm not sure that Aminu is a 3 + D guy either. Boston did what I feared others might try.......leave Aminu wide open to take the deep ball while they double Dame and CJ. They essentially dared him to take it. For much of his young career he has been a sub 30% 3 pt shooter.

This year he has improved to 34% but he needs to be better if he wants to continue to start. Maybe cut down on his arc? There are very few guys like Purvis Short who could consistently make the rainbow shot work from deep.

34% is effectively better than 50% from 2. Aminu has been fine when left wide open in the corner. Of course it would be nice if he made more; but if teams leave him wide open its a quality shot.

Compare that to Andre Roberson; he's shooting 24% from three. Opponents will let him shoot all day and its a major problem for the Thunder. They have no alternative who is even average defensively.
