If you look at that Cavs roster. 1 guy over the age of 28 (Kevin Love) that really get rotational minutes

Mitchell- 26
Garland- 22
Jarrett Allen- 24
Mobley- 21

They’re going to be good for years to come.

Banchero is great but if it's not translating to wins, I cannot get that excited. He's not playing really on a team that is even remotely competitive. Same with SGA, and it's a shame for both.
#1 picks rarely win FAMS! Get excited.

Cavs give up 15 straight points. What a melt down after being up 12

Dumb play of the night. Paul George fouls a three point shooter (Donovan Mitchell ) when his team is ahead by four points with 4.5 seconds left in the game.
Mitchell made the first free-throw made the second free-throw intentionally missed the third free-throw and almost got the rebound on that one. George ended up with the ball.
So it did not cost of the Clippers the game but still pretty dumb.

Just read Dwight Howard today signed with the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan for the season. Big news for Taiwan....my brother in law and my nephews live there in Taoyuan...I may go there in Feb and get to see him play! I'll definitely buy a Dwight Howard Taoyuan Leopards jersey!

Doncic is a fucking magician.

most entertaining basketball player to watch for me.

Amazingly I find myself having to defend Russ here. The rest of that Lakers roster is g league guys that can't shoot.

Well someone is making their shots or he would not be racking up all those assists. The problem is the other side of the ball. The Jazz shot 56% from the field last night so his offensive stats don't seem to be very important.

Totally disagree, the problem for the Lakers is their roster up and down is full of guys who can't shoot, as in they are a historically bad shooting team, possibly the worst ever in NBA history, they've already set many records.

Look at their three best 3point shooters right now;
1 Matt Ryan who is almost 26 and has an NBA career of playing one game for Boston
2 Austin Reaves who as a rookie last year shot 31% from three.
3 Russell Westbrook is currently third on the Lakers in three point percentage!

Yes the chucker who has shot 3700 three pointers in his career at a terrible 30.5% is the Lakers third best three point shooter.

The Lakers are absolute garbage this year. Remove Westbrook they are garbage, add him they are garbage.

Plenty of things to criticize Westbrook for over his 15 year career, and I often have; but this horrible Lakers team just isn't one of them.

Whoever built a professional basketball team in 2022; with this 3 point era that has no shooters is terrible at their job. To think that last month Pelinka got an extension is nuts. So I'm not sure how much of that blame should go to GM, ownership, or star (LBJ) player. But the result is a roster of shit.

It's another great year to be a Lakers hater.

You cited only 3-pt shooting. Pinwheel1's point was that someone has to be making shots in order for RW to earn assists, and last I checked, 2-pt shots also count toward assists.

Aussie Josh Green with a great game for Dallas (16 pts @ 100%, 5 reb, 2 ast), and a very good start to the season with a league leading 66.7% 3P%, and 92.1% TS%.

Man, you can’t help but feel for the kid.

geeeeezuz.... I don't know what the recovery time is although from what I just read the minimum would be 6 weeks, but that's for returning to 'normal' activity, not pounding on a BB floor

Zach's history suggests this will keep him out of action for months. He should think about giving up BB otherwise he might be hobbling around on canes in his 40's

One of Olshey's rare smart moves.
