I expected the Blazers to be better because Dame was finally healthy. But the Jazz were supposed to be tanking for Wemba. They're going to have to trade Markkanen , Clarkson, Conley, and Vanderbilt for that to happen.

Were they necessarily "tanking for Wemba", or just divesting themselves off players that didn't work together in exchange for future assets. I'm not going to claim that Ainge knew the pieces returned were going to fit together the way they have, but I don't think he's unhappy about it. If this start is for real and they keep performing at/near this level, I seriously doubt they do anything to reverse it.

I'm not responsible for what he says. I'm just choosing to remain hopeful about the Blazers. They have played better than most expected. They have played up to the potential I hoped they would. There is still a long season ahead.

As for Eric's antics of choice I don't find it annoying at all. I find it humorous. You guys are annoyed and see it as trolling I get that. But, I'm not feeding a troll, I'm feeding my hope. Will I be disappointed. Probably. Oh well.

For the record I believe he is hopeful like me and playfully joking. He is more optimistic than me though.

I don't seriously think of other teams as trash...Eric is joking. If you look at it that way or don't look at it all, maybe it won't be annoying. It's like you guys would be more satisfied if the Blazers were losing and things going as they usually would.

It's been a really interesting start to the season for teams that were supposed to be good or bad. Things seem a bit upside down right now with a lot of the perennial good teams on the bottom. Things will change. There is still a long season.

I'm going to keep being hopeful. I get annoyed with people being negative over and over again. I say we enjoy where things are now and keep our fingers crossed.

Nash was a GREAT player but an average coach on his best day -- already seeing the Net's might contact the C's and try and get Udoka and that would be a great move for them IF it were to happen. Udoka is a very good coach and and below average flawed man for cheating but just talking B-Ball would be a great get.
