Somebody needs to see this.

Looks like the Nets are going to go for the controversial hire, go figure.....they're said to be hiring Ime from Boston. I think they should have gone after Juwan Howard at this point.

Meyers gets suspended, and likely blackballed from the league. Kyrie gets a generic press release.
Talent is king.
MJ could literally scream at refs and get right in their face without getting T'd up or ejected from games....that's where the superstar privilege really took root. Shaq followed by fouling people and getting rewarded with free throws for it.

wait... udoka hiring is really happening according to Woj.

for fucks sake, are there no consequences in this messed up world we live in? how the hell does this guy get another job?
There was a consequence. He was suspended and essentially loss his job with the Celtics. He broke a Celtics company policy and paid the price. That should be the extent of his punishment. No laws were broken.

to those dismissing udoka's stuff as just a consensual affair:https://www.netsdaily.com/2022/11/1/23434976/nets-dump-steve-nash-ime-udoka-possible-replacement

Udoka, Woj told Sage Steele, would not have a problem getting released from his commitment to Boston. At the time of his suspension this summer, Woj reported this about the issue that led the Celtics to suspend a head coach that had taken the team to the Finals.

The independent law firm probe into Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka found that he used crude language in his dialogue with a female subordinate prior to the start of an improper workplace relationship with the woman, an element that significantly factored into the severity of his one-year suspension, sources told ESPN.

Those investigative findings — which described verbiage on Udoka’s part that was deemed especially concerning coming from a workplace superior — contribute to what is likely a difficult pathway back to his reinstatement as Celtics coach in 2023, sources told ESPN.

Specifically, a league insider tells NetsDaily that Udoka had repeatedly sent inappropriate messages to women on the Celtics staff. Udoka had been an assistant coach with the Spurs, 76ers and Nets prior to being hired as head coach by the Celtics in 2021.

I have no problem with the hire BUT I think he should NOT be allowed to take over the Job til either the All - Star break OR next season -- not going to lie I am kind of conflicted on this one.

Like i said before as a Basketball coach he is very good but as a man he is lacking but I do not support a cancelling of him like I think some want to happen. People are allowed to fuck up within reason and get 2nd / 3rd etc chances it's not like he assaulted a women or something he was just being creepy and while wrong he should have the chance to be better AND still have a job in the NBA. I just hope he can learn from his screw up and become a better person cause I have always liked him so again wish him the best.

If Nets go on a Fire Sale, would like to trade for KD?

I thought November was my favorite month because of Thanksgiving, but I guess I just like the drama...

Was Nash ever an assistant coach? Or did he just go right to head coach?

Never a proper assistant. He had some stuff he did around GSW at the beginning of their run. He was a Part-Time Player Development Consultant from 2015.

not sure if (married) women within the brooklyn nets should he happy or disappointed

theres sluts everywhere, hell bang them in brooklyn too

Nash said today that he's staying in Brooklyn with his family and will cheer for the Nets from the place he calls home.

Looks like there's a decent chance I'm going to need to move all the Kyrie-related posts to their own thread.

Nash will get another coaching gig.
Why? I wouldn’t even hire him to be an assistant. He let his team lose 11 in a row last season. Let that in. And with KD on his team, he only won 1 playoff series. And last year, he got swept in the first round.
