So I just read Booker now has a new calf strain injury. Wondering if that is true?

why did you put a Raptor that can't shoot outside 10 feet on your fantasy team?
I think he means the opposite of what you think. Barnes is crushing shit this season. I'm guessing his opponent has Scottie, and is crushing him.

Look at this shit. Barnes had like 17 fantasy points at the half.

The Spurs were about to inbound the ball in the front court with the score tied and 1.2 seconds left in regulation.

You would think (I would at least) this is the perfect situation to throw the ball in to Wembanyama, who can shoot from anywhere.

I guess not. Instead, the Spurs Sochan threw a terrible cross-court pass that was intercepted by Toronto. (Amazingly, Scottie Barnes had the presence of mind to call a time-out while nearly still in the air after intercepting the pass. Toronto missed their shot at the end.)

This reminds me of the situation where Lebron scrapped a game-ending plan and demanded the ball go to him. Over-thinking by the coach.

The Spurs ended up losing the game in overtime after leading by 22 points.

Were you one of the ones saying Barnes was overrated when we all discussed trading Dame for him? The dude is a baller.
30 pts, (5-10 from 3) 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals.....

No... I just didn't want Gary Trent back in those trade ideas

List of the heaviest players in the NBA. Many have had some major injuries but surprisingly many are still playing.
1 Jusuf Nurkic Portland Trail Blazers 131.5 290
2 Nikola Jokic Denver Nuggets 128.8 284
3 Zion Williamson New Orleans Pelicans 128.8 284
4 Brook Lopez Milwaukee Bucks 127.9 282
5 Robin Lopez Cleveland Cavaliers 127.5 281
6 Joel Embiid Philadelphia 76ers 127.0 280
7 Andre Drummond Chicago Bulls 126.6 279
8 Omer Yurtseven Miami Heat 124.7 275
Kenneth Lofton Jr. Memphis Grizzlies 124.7 275
10 Udoka Azubuike Utah Jazz 122.5 270
Vernon Carey Washinton Wizards 122.5 270
Wendell Carter Jr. Orlando Magic 122.5 270
JaVale McGee Dallas Mavericks 122.5 270

Obviously that list is a little old. Still has Nurk on Portland and Jokic at 284 which we know he went down last year to about 260-270.
Its not just his weight. Its how he slams that weight around. He is too quick for his own good. He comes down hard alot.

I do not understand Charlotte. They’re playing Ball like he’s 40. Meanwhile we are riding Shaedon for 40+ minutes. Ball has 12 minutes of play in the first half. He’s not in foul trouble.

LaMelo can pass but he has zero scoring game. Like literally nothing. I think Scoot is gonna be way better.

Sochan doing Sochan things.

Cause he's smart.

Classic take on a night he goes for 23 in the 4th quarter. You might just be the new JinxSpeed.

One amazing quarter.....for a guy shooting 34% from the field and 32% from '3'. He has been brutal this season shooting the ball. Kid can pass though.

If you're going to discount it as being one quarter, aka a sample size argument, then you have to factor in his season numbers are based on only 5.75 games. His career numbers aren't great, but they're much better at 42%/38%, so it's just as likely that 4th quarter was him breaking out of a mini-slump as it was an aberration for a lousy shooter.

Discount it for being one quarter? It is exactly the "he goes for 23 in the 4th quarter" post that I was responding to. It literally refers to one quarter. So then took the entire (short) season as a comparison which at the time I looked at BBR, which included every quarter. To take away that great quarter, and his numbers for the season would be even worse.

You clearly don't understand the small sample size argument. Waste of time talking to a wall, carry on.
