Lol.

Rockets have had a pretty bad schedule, they will be alright. The only thing that matters in the regular season is the record. They are 9-2, one of the best teams in the NBA. They beat up the Spurs last regular season and it meant nothing in the playoffs. All that matters is the regular season record, you can believe this is how they will look all year and you'd be dumb to believe that. They almost beat the Warriors without Dwight, the problem is they were sent to Mexico City and then sent on a road trip with a b2b.

Philly exposed the Rockets, the Rockets exposed the Heat, and the Heat exposed Dallas...and Denver and Utah exposed the Cavs...hilarious stuff.

Did this guy really just pull the "playoffs are all that matter" card, only to backpedal and talk about how their wins during the regular season meant something?

Are you aware that Houston's strength of Schedule is the easiest in the entire NBA?!

You should reread my post. The fact that people want to pin the Rockets first road loss as some kind of proof of a failed season is funny to me. It's their first loss with Howard, and not even all of the Grizzlies fans think this win means anything knowing that the Rockets were on the end of a B2B and just having a bunched up schedule.

I said that regular season only means anything when it comes to seeding, and that the Rockets are 9-2. Period.

If regular season meant anything the Rockets would have won the championship last season seeing as how they have pretty much handled the Spurs all last season. This is using the regular season logic of overreacting to every game.

Are you aware Houston played Philly twice, which would knock down their SOS quite a bit? SOS? You mean when Houston blew out the Heat who then blew out the Mavs? Or the Spurs who lost to the Suns and the Cavs who lost to the Jazz and Nuggets? What is this, NCAA? We are talking about SOS in the first 10 games, that's kinda funny. I guess according to SOS, the Kings are one of the best teams in the NBA then.

great, does this mean we'll be having rocket fans flooding the forum now?

Philly dropped them down to 30th?! Dude you are a silly motherfucker dude...

Naw man Kings are only better than the Rockets... But who isn't?

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...buse-allegations-won-t-go-away-230603314.html

While Howard's representatives denied any abuse to TMZ, the website claimed Howard had admitted striking his son to authorities. He reportedly used the same excuse Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson offered in defense of allegedly "whooping" his 4-year-old with tree branches and belts — that he was simply mimicking the corporal punishment approach he had experienced himself as a child.

Umm...yes? Do you know how SOS works? (It means literally nothing in the NBA) but it adds up all the wins and losses of every team, and then takes the average. You see, Philly is 0-10 and we played them twice, the Lakers are 1-9.

The rest of the teams the Rockets played have been either playoff teams or just average teams thus far. The 3 games against the Lakers, Philly, Philly is why they have the lowest SOS. That's math.

I doubt it, most Rocket fans aren't even really that concerned with the Blazers. They have 4 other playoff teams in their division (talk about a remaining SOS...as if it means something...) so I think Rocket fans are more concerned with those teams.

They have 4 other playoff teams in their division (talk about a remaining SOS...as if it means something...) and have to worry about teams they actually haven't matched up well against like the Clippers and Grizzlies, I doubt many Rocket fans are scared of the Blazers seeing as how they no longer have to worry about the defensive issues that Lin and Parsons bought to the team.

So basically you are saying that you should be 5-4? Yeah that does sound about right.

Houston is just trash. Leads the league in turnovers, can't defend, can't really do anything but shoot. Take that away and they are a lotto team

Yeah that's what Rockets fans said last playoffs. How did that work out for yah?!

Clips got blown out at home by a Bulls team without Rose and Gasol. I can't believe we gave that game away to these chumps.

You should be very concerned

Yeah that one hurt; their three best players were wearing gray that night.

Lol, with that I'm done for the night. The team has been winning by defense, definitely not by their shooting. The numbers and stats would tell you this, you didn't even have to watch a game. Just look at the numbers.

Weak sauce. That the best you can come up with?

How's that weak? If you think if the Rockets and Blazers would go exactly the same as the previous season then you don't follow sports much.

I already gave the Blazers props on beating the Rockets last post-season. I don't have to do it all this season either :P

The Blazers won't beat Houston with a buzzer beater this year.

This year they will grind down their will to live in the fourth and win by eight.

You're right, it wouldn't go exactly the same. You don't have Asik to put on Aldridge. It would go much worse.

You're right it wouldn't. Our current team would have swept your sorry ass team

"What have you guys done, added an old center who got garbage minutes with the Lakers and some guy who's best known for being liked by Kobe?"

I've never seen a cockier fanbase that barely beat a team who played horrible all series long. Think about that. It took a improbable game by LMA and a clutch shot (featuring a usual blown assignment by Parsons...) for you to win that series in 6 games...not 4.

I could see if you swept the Rockets but that was HARDLY the case. But in your minds, you all swept the Rockets. That's pretty amazing. Then all the games were close too..but apparently the lowly Rockets are no match for the Blazers...

Who lost to the Clippers who just lost the Bulls who didn't even have Pau Gasol and Rose...SOS!

Says the 2nd most cockiest fan base only behind laker fans

And psst... I'm just using your "it's not the same team" logic. Our team is much better than last year's team. Your team isn't better in any shape you can dream up.

Enjoy the bottom buddy

See this is why you are a perfect example of how bad rocket fans are. Can't accept that you lost fair and square. That improbable game was because no one on your team could stop him since he is mad legit. And that 3 pointer went in because your teams communication was so horrible that he got wide open, and he's the fucking truth in the clutch.

Learn the game

Do I really need to go back and look up all the posts that your shitty fanbase made about how happy you were to face our team?

You have the best center in the game and the best shooting guard and you LOST. That's fucking pathetic man. Your team doesn't know how to play as a team. You gave up Asik and Lin for nothing. You lost Parsons for nothing. Don't worry. It will catch up with your shitty GM eventually.

Beating a team in six is not barely beating them. Real talk. Talking about a bad Game 6 when Game 7 wasn't devided is some Red Sox fan base bullshit.
