I don't think anyone said you are not a playoff team. But I don't see you guys finishing tops in the west. I don't think you finish above the Blazers this year either.

Meh that's fair. I think the biggest loss this team has is no backup center. I guess we'll find out, I have seen people putting us out of the playoffs. Not just fans but a few of the media. Charles said we were a 8th seed at best. If he had said "I could see them finishing 8th..." but he said at best which made it sound like we needed everything to go right just to squeak into the playoffs.

I can relate; I stuck with the Blazers all through the Jailblazer years and it was TOUGH. The players were unlikable, the media hated us, and every fan in the universe loved beating us. You're not there with the Rockets yet, but I can relate with your situation. It sucks! I had fights with inlaws, my own family, all because I refused to see what a bunch of awful jerks they were.

And the reward I got for suffering through? The INSANELY BAD Telfair/Ha years.

That I can talk proud and loud about my team now is a fucking gift, and I don't forget that ever.

I don't mean to disrespect you guys current team. When I said Rocket fans weren't thinking about the Blazers it's just that they play in a tough division with the Spurs and Mavs and Grizz. The Grizz and Clippers are terrible matchups for the Rockets. The Clippers blow this team out every year for whatever reason. We play you guys close at least, that's more than can be said for the Clippers and Grizzlies sometimes.

I think you guys have a legit team, I just think people are sleeping on this team..and before this Mexico City trip, Howard was looking a lot like Orlando Dwight that took his team to the finals. So I'm just a little more confident, although I'm aware that McHale still coaches this team unfortunately. But Dwight has his explosiveness back and Harden actually tries on defense, so it's a minor improvement. Apparently Morey has something up his sleeve which could either be good or bad...it's either going to hurt or depth because he goes for potential again or it'll be a nice solid move, one can never know with him...

Anyone who thinks the Rockets aren't a playoff team is a fucking moron. They have Harden. They have Dwight. They're going to be in the top 8. It's hard to say at this point where they're going to finish, but they'll be in the playoffs for sure.

Well the west is crazy this year for sure. The only 6 teams I'm certain will make it are the Rockets, Blazers, Mavs, Spurs, Grizzlies, Clippers, Warriors...that 8th team for me is a total toss up. I think the Kings get in there over the Pelicans because the Pelicans and Suns. As for the other 7 teams, it really could go any way. Then you have this wild card OKC who could end up being a nice "reward" for a team finishing 1st or 2nd if Durant and Westbrook can get them out of the hole they will be in, which I doubt happens with how tough the West is already...

The Rockets are a horrible team. Almost losing to Sixers? Not scoring 70 against injured Thunder? Garbage. Rockets will be lucky to make the playoffs. Every team in their division is better than them.

Yeah, the Sixers almost beat the Bulls too.

That injured Thunder team beat the Kings, almost beat the Clippers, and oh...almost beat the Grizzlies...

Meanwhile, the Rockets without Beverly, Jones, and Howard almost beat the Warriors...

See how flawed this logic is? It's the regular season, sometimes teams just have bad nights, sometimes a bad team gets hot and plays that one game as if it's the NBA Finals. It happens.

The Warriors suck too. Probably 6 seed and out in first round again.

Also, I don't see the Clippers as a lock to make the playoffs. They're horrible.

Let me introduce you to Kingspeed. The "hyperbole master". We love him to death, but the dude will post shit like Crabbe has a 56 PER or Leonard is 100/100/100! LOL

Maybe Im being oversensitive but this rubs me the wrong way for some reason. I never want to hear a player on my team say something like this

I think he is trying to be diplomatic and did not want to say that he did not to play with d-bags.

We need to send Meyers out there to stache-whip him when he flops.

Seriously, I really hope Stotts actually does something like that. If they are gonna fall for his flop, then send him to the floor and tell the refs "No that's a foul!"

Make that bitch think twice on pulling that shit against us. It's not like Houston has any enforcer types. They are all pussies!

Even the glove dislikes Dwight Howard.

Your only "quality" win all season was over 6-5 MIA. 7 of your 9 wins are against teams with a combined .213 winning percentage and the other was over SAS with no Duncan, no Manu and Aaron Baynes and Kyle Anderson leading the Spurs in minutes played. Not exactly a championship resume.

And, you didn't almost beat the Warriors, you lost by 11. If that's your definition of almost winning, the Blazers are almost undefeated.

Man, what a godawful schedule in the NBA tonight. NOP at SAC is the only game with even a remote possibility of being mildly entertaining. LAL at ATL, NYK at MIL and OKC at UTA all promise to be snoozefests. Looks like I'll be watching Breaking Bad on Netflix tonight...

Leonard should own the stacshe, like Uncle Rico!

Breaking Bad should always win. Where are you at in the show?

With Jordan having 32,292 points, he's in 3rd place, Kobe Bryant now has 32,001 points moving into 4th place.
