ROFL at Riley --- Herro if you believe that horseshit I have ocean front property in Iowa to sell you too --
I know the $$ has changed crazily, but to put it in a little perspective, Giannis' 3 year extension will pay him about twice as much money as Michael Jordan made in his entire 15 year career!Giannis signed a 3 year 186 Million extension today.

so, 13M/year for Anthony; 14M/year for Green; 15.5M year for Okongwu; and 27M year for McDaniels
which deal is the best? Which is the worst?
Good think Jordan was gifted a billion dollar subsidiary of a multi-billion dollar corporation or we might have to feel sorry for him.I know the $$ has changed crazily, but to put it in a little perspective, Giannis' 3 year extension will pay him about twice as much money as Michael Jordan made in his entire 15 year career!

So Norman Powell will get more than 20 minutes a night and Robert Covington will get more than 15 minutes a night on a playoff team, we likely won't get the second rounder in 2025 and both Winslow and Johnson have been waived from teams in the last few days.
I like what Joe is doing with the rebuild but anyone who tells me that he did everything he could to build a winner around Dame is either delusional or related to him. The trade for Jerami still doesn't make sense with the obvious youth rebuild but every other move taken to its totality was clearly meant to induce a trade request from the best Blazers player of all time.
It's cool, it's cool. I'm all on board with Scoot, Shaedon and the rest for our youth rebuild but I'll probably always hate Joe just a little bit for forcing Dame out and being two faced to us and the media about it at the same time.
Bronny's heart condition will cause him to go undrafted, then he will sign with the Lakers. How in the world will the Lakers find a way to land Bronny??? Maybe they have a late 2024 2nd round pick?
STOMP
That extends him up through the 2026-7 season when he will be 32. At that point Dame will be 36, Middleton 35 & Lopez 39. Dame's contract also ends following the 2026-27 season, Middleton after 25-26 & Lopez 24-25.Giannis signed a 3 year 186 Million extension today.

No team was going to trade us a near All Star for Norman Powell and Robert Covington between the time Cronin took the job and the time Dame asked out.So Norman Powell will get more than 20 minutes a night and Robert Covington will get more than 15 minutes a night on a playoff team, we likely won't get the second rounder in 2025 and both Winslow and Johnson have been waived from teams in the last few days.
