Remember when "The Beard" helped his team win a Championship?

Oops. Wrong sport. His name is "Brian Wilson" and he is the original "Beard" of the current sports generation. Go Giants.

Gentlemens sweep of the Rockets just like the Spurs did to us last year. Rockets had it way too easy and got gifted two crappy teams to face before a real team like the Warriors. Dallas was horrible, LAC choked like pretty much everyone knew they would.

Was never impressed with Houston.

Difference between our series with the Warriors and yours with the Spurs is that ours was in the WCF. Also that the Rockets should have won two of those home games if anyone else stepped up and not rely on Harden carrying the entire team. Your series with the Spurs was domination by them, our series with the Warriors had several games where the Rockets could have won. and was also in the WCF.

Rockets did this without their 3rd best player and starting PG btw. Harden is 25 and for them to get better would just mean staying healthy...although it can be assumed that Morey will shore up the PG spot. I could easily see the Rockets here next season and even further. You say the Rockets were gifted, I'd say that would be the Warriors moreso than the Rockets. Who have been healthy all year long and their opponents are always missing one of their best 3 players. Rockets fought all year long, despite the odds and continued to fight. Nothing was gifted for them.

The Rockets need Nate McMillan as their head coach, he would cure Harden's pesky turnover problem.

+> Glad they are done. I never liked that team with its current roster. I once liked them only because Clyde got a ring and being re united with Olajawan was cool.

Pack up "the beard" for another year.

Bwahahahahahahahah OMG I love it. I fucking love it! The flopping KING finally gets whats coming to his bitch ass.

Peace OUT Harden. Oh and please shave, your beard looks disgusting on HD.

The Warriors had one of those magic seasons that sports teams have every once in a while when everything goes right. Multiple players, not just Stephen Curry, had career years. Players with injury histories all stayed healthy; I don't think any of the rotation players missed more than 2 or 3 games all season. The GM more or less fell into their hands when he wanted to move to the Bay Area to be with his partner, just when the Warriors had an opening. Everyone accepted his role, all the pieces fit; part of the credit has to go to Coach Kerr. I know a lot of people were upset when Jackson was fired, but he divided the team. Kerr united them. The two teams that gave them trouble were the Spurs and Clippers and they did not have to face either in the playoffs. It was just a "perfect storm". I don't know if you can call them the best team in the NBA but they had the best season.
